Shot steel challenge with this little guy yesterday, so much fun.

4 stations, 5 shots, 5 rounds, just just over 2 boxes of 9mm. $15 to enter $25 ammo, great 2 hours of fun.

This is what I need to get into because going to the range and blasting off 150-200rnds just poking holes in paper is to expensive now.

Wolcott used to do these fun practical pistol shoot competitions that I did a couple times. Haven’t seen them host one since pre-covid though.

Snagged a grail gun I’ve been wanting for some time. Volkmann 45 1911. I have a nice pair of cream ish mammoth grips I think will go nice on it.

Our club has a “tactical” (i hate that term) range where you can shoot steel till it hurts.

I want a Silver Pigeon in a bad way. I haven’t shot sporting clays /traps in a while, but used to often in Texas and loved it. Been pretty heavily shooting steel challenge in the single stack class with a guncrafter 1911.
