Fitness Cheaters chime in

As far as my diet goes, for breakfast I typically have either oatmeal or egg beaters along with a fuirt smoothie(usually strawberries cranberries and alittle bit of peanut butter)
For lunch i’m almost always on the go so a quick sandwich or wrap is typical(I only eat wheat bread). Then for Dinner I usually have a salad with shrimp and/or some type of fish along with it.

On my “screwup” days I’ll get a BBQ chicken sandwich and will let myself eat a few onion rings.

And sureshort, can you elaborate on exactly what Napalm does and if you really thing it’s worth it I might give it a shot. Let me know how much you want for it. What’s clenbuterol?

I used to be, however it made me extremely moody and snappy, I had to quit taking it.

Yeah, lol, I think people greatly underestimate how hard HIIT can be

If your thyroid is underactive and you aren’t on any prescriptions for it, losing any more weight is going to be impossibly hard. Any drugs they’d put you on will help you lose more weight though, so you may want to reconsider… for the wrongs reasons of course.

Naplam is effective when you are already at a low BF%. If you are over 10% it won’t do anything for you. If you are that low, let me know. Although it might already be sold if I still have it :roflpicard:

Clen is something you should never in your life take

Not true, I actually dropped down to 190 (mostly fat loss) then gained another 13 or so lbs over the past 6 months. It’s a matter of diet is all, mine isn’t so bad where it’s impossible to deal with. It just causes my metabolism so slow down quite a bit, so I guess what I’m really looking for is another way to speed up my metabolism.

And body fat i’m prolly around 9-10% right now, been a while since it was measured.

Trust me keeping the weight off is not the easiest thing in the world, fast food doesn’t exist, ice cream doesn’t exist, most "sweets’’ don’t exist.

I’m in the same boat and finding it hard to find motivation. I ran track in high school and hated it, and because of that can’t bring myself to run now. I’m lifting and doing crunches daily but know that without good cardio routine I’ll never drop the gut lol. And to whomever said you need to do 600 to 800 crunches a day Stfu. Back when i was in decent shape i was able to keep my 6 pack by doing about 150 a day or so.

I bet you are closer to 15% Body fat.

at 9/10% body fat you can def see abs

Some peoples’ abs don’t “pop” till 5/6%. :smash2:

Here is a link to an mp3 to use when trying Guerrila Cardio/HIIT.

Lame, double post.

Anyways, there is no audio till 1 minute in, at which point it beeps at the proper start/stop intervals.

yeah your right but at 9% you are pretty ripped.

Post a pic…nohomo

The 10% was an estimate, I was at 14 roughly 2 months ago and I can see the difference since then.
You can see/feel my abs, I just want to get the rest of the excess off the top of them. I don’t have any recent pics of me without my shirt off sorry Dan =/.

I can’t stress enough about diet. I NEVER do cardio or abs and I have a six pack. I’m 5’11 207 and about 6% body fat. I never eat anything fried and stay away from sugars. If you have to eat carbs, make sure they’re complex carbs so your body uses them as fuel(potatoes, rice, noodles etc.) I eat about 3-4 meals a day consisting of 50g of protein in each one, and three protein shakes a day as well. In my workouts I superset everything except for chest, that way I get a cardio workout from the supersets. You really have to be strict with it though.

Basically what I’m trying to say is that you don’t need to do ab workouts to get abs. You already have abs underneath, you just have to uncover them.

you don’t have to burn what you don’t eat.

what I’ve learnt leads me to believe that you can get the upper part of a 6 pack through intense exercise but the lower part will never happen without cutting and getting under 10% fat.

:bigclap:

Can anyone comment on the working out before eating something in the morning? Some say its a huge difference, and others say it does not matter.

^Good question. It’s highly debated on forums like anabolicminds. They really get technical there, so if you are in search of a legitimate response with supporting data… not just guys posting their “feelings”… check it out there.

I’ll chech that when I’m out of work, but can you guys throw out your feelings on the subject? I could never see any difference if its in the morning or if its not, but reading that link that was posted, it claims “you burn 3 times as much fat if you do this before you eat!” and I just cant believe that.

Everyone I have talked to that says they believe in supersets said it will only cut you, not gain strength and mass. Which is ok short term, but in the long term is it worth it?

The link I posted is legitimate.

Many many people believe that doing cardio on an empty stomach is more effective than eating a bagel first. I haven’t talked about this in awhile so my facts are rusty and I strongly encourage you to read it on your own… but generally I think the idea is that in the AM, you’ve already depleted all the food in your system, so the only place for your body to go to find energy is within itself.

I do personally find better results from doing cardio on an empty stomach in the AM, but when I do HIIT in the AM with no breakfast… I’ll easily get dizzy get massive headaches. If I was simply walking in the AM or something low impact- I wouldn’t have a problem not eating. HIIT in the morning= must eat.

I’ve heard many times from sources I trust that working out in the morning before you eat burns more fat. I personally have no knowledge of why though. :gotme:

it burns more fat because that’s all your body had available to consume.

cliffs: you don’t have a bunch of carbs to burn off like you would after a meal.

I did this a few years ago for a month and noticed a big difference vs. running after work.

it makes sense for jogging, but HIIT with no food in you does not sound smart.
