Because you would be burning left over calories instead of burning ones that you have just consumed, thus still leaving over these extra calories.

you’re starving your body of nutrients tho, after you are done working out, and do eat, your body should then continue to burn the calories you just took in by recovering from your workout

thats exactly my question. I have not done it and not sure what it falls under. Would it be more effective to NOT eat in the morning and go full bore, knowing your body is only under 4mins of intense load. Or shall I eat something to try and avoid the side effects of such an intense routine.

Yes, what I posted is simply a variation of “tabata intervals.”

I would consider eating something light before you do it for the first time. See what you think of it and then decide if you can go without eating.

It sounds like 4 mins is simple, and that it can’t be real because it’ll be over so quickly… but in reality it’s far from easy. It’s much easier to do cardio at the gym instead.

To do the intervals correctly, you need to be pushing your body to it’s absolute limit. When you are gasping for air and fighting back intense cramps and light-headedness, you’ll wonder why you aren’t at the gym doing something easy. You have to EARN a good body.

I lift really heavy, so I can’t see how anyone can say you dont gain any size from it. I weighed 152 lbs one year ago and am now a very lean 207. If you use lower weight i’m sure it’ll cut you up but like I said I dont lift light. I’ve also seen HUGE gains in everything I lift… And No i would never take steroids. You gotta just know how to put size on.

Holy ballsack. :wheezing: Thanks for that. Fuck you for that too. Jogged to the gym (1/4 mile away) did half dozen exercises, did that guerrilla bullshit on the way home. Quick and easy, over fast. Wheezing like an irish whore by the end of it. Still light headed 20 mins later. Fuck am I out of shape.

Yeah, I did use the MP3. That was the part I forgot to mention. I was surprised at how much it helped. Kind of like a coach blowing a whistle at you. Definitely made it harder/better than if I was just looking at a stop watch.

In a couple of months my wife will thank you for my abs. :tup:

And ive been goin to the gym for a year now and ive lost most of the weight i wanted to and i also added some size in that same time. I was @ about 265 starting with a 36% BMI, now my BMI is @ 23% and im at 235lbs. I do 30 min of good cardio, after stretching, then about an hour of free weight / resistance training. Creadrive and then Muscle milk Protein shakes right after a workout and 3-4 small meals a day. Its all about setting your own personal goals and doin what you like to do.

Oh and on manswers they said that a harvard study said that people who were taught to think thin/ think they were losing weight actually lost more weight then others who worked out and were told nothing. Ill post a link if i can find that damn thing.

diet and workouts is where its at, but it’s already been mentioned…

i skipped the first 4 pages. I reccomend South Beach diet. along with working out your gonna be a man whore in no time. You should lose 5-10LBS in the 1st 2 weeks, and it burns fat like whoa. If you want some supplements to build muscle see(whatevr) to burn more fat, Hydroxy cut worked like sick for me. Iost 125lbs in 15 months. stick with it and yer on yer way to speedos on the beach-if thats what yer boyfriends r into.

Agreed, stay away from beer, mixed drinks if you must,-we ALL must. stay low carb if so, diet and XXXXXX is perfect.

btw the SPinning classes are sick cardio and muscle building, my Bud is Strenght and conditioning coach in a certain professional sports team local, and they do Spin classes" and those dudes, pro athletes are fuckin beat and swear by it for conditioning and just a phenomonal workout. Also great way to meet broads.(cmon u all know goin to the gym is a great way to meet broads!)
