FREE Track Time and Class! Anyone interested?

Either way we need to buy things to get the bikes in the truck and its not even certain we can take the truck. If its possible the trailer should be our first option with the truck as a back up plan.

Well I’m definitely going to set aside some purchases than.

Let me know when you want to meet up to pick the best one.

As soon as possible. Tuesday after work? Between then and now check out anything you can find online.

There are a bunch out there, all need to be out together and all run about a grand shipped. I’ll post links when I get home.

I believe camping for NH is for camper only and I think they charge you money (I read somewhere on their site that it is $100/camper, but I am not sure). If your dad is interested, he can be a corner worker, he can get vouchers for you for future events -> http://www.tonystrackdays.com/category/101/corner-working.htm

I guess it is up to you guys regarding lodging and transport, since we are all doing the same event. Either way, I don’t mind splitting the van or the room to cut cost. The Ryder panel van should fit 3 bikes, I just need to find out if there are enough anchor points for tie downs -> http://reservations.ryder.com/StartContent/VehicleInformation.aspx?param=Panel%20Van

Yeah I pointed that out to him the other day, he is thinking about doing it.

If you want to just rent a room I will gladly throw in money for myself and my father if he decides to comeso do you want to take care of that?

As far as the panel van goes, the only problem would be seats for everyone but than again if push comes to shove two ppl could just sit in the back of the truck with the bikes and gear :lol

The track has a 99Db sound limit but what I have read from asking around is that it is hardly enforced and that stuffing some steel wool in the end of your can will effectivley quiet it down.

Well, I have a stock “moped” so I don’t have to worry about that. Regarding the van, don’t think having people in the back is a good idea :lol.

However, depends on what you guys will be towing the trailer with and how many people will be in your car. I should have plenty of storage space in the van if you guys are short on storage. :thumbup

Prob not the best idea ever but hey, I said it was last resort :lol When will you be checking out the van? If there is decent storage for three bikes I have no doubt both Vlad and I would love to bum some space off of you and put them in your van. I would also of course throw in some money to split the cost of the van.

Rocket do you want to handle the lodging and than just tell us what we owe you? Just for monday night for Vlad and I.

While we are on the subject.

This is the type of trailer I am considering.

Just got my hitch in too.

I can’t actually see any of the pictures at work so I’m no help with this one. May want to wait and see what we can do with the panel van first though, save your self a few bucks for now.

That looks good, very compact.

Those trailers look great, how much would shipping run though? looks like they would even be possible to load without any ramps just by tilting the trailer back.

About 1000$ shipped depending on he size model and options.

We are in the furthest shipping area so shipping is about 240$

Some charge more but offer free shipping.

Also for future reference, I’ll throw this in here.

So my bike registers at 120 Db at like 8k from a distance of maybe 3 feet. Even my old 1993 bone stock Katana 750 registers 112 at about 7k from 3 feet away.

I forgot to post this eariler: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSVg3Gg4LmA

The rider being filmed is John, who runs the HVCC MSF an ARC courses here.

The sound level is measured from 50 feet away and according to Tony of Tonystrackdays.com is rarely ever done so no worries abuot that.

Just checked out the ryder panel van during lunch. There are plenty of room for 3 bikes but tieing them all down might be a bit tricky, but can be done I think, as all the supports are located on either side of the van.

I say we count on that than and if we can’t get three bikes in Vlad and I can also rent a single bike trailer from Uhaul to tow the third bike. How much is the panel van to rent for a few days?
