anybody know how much a headlight out ticket will usually cost if plead guilty? I have a couple of days to get it fixed but don’t know if it will happen. It’s not the bulb or a fuse. Its also related to an accident that will be claimed on insurance but I have not made the claim yet. Its going to Machias town court, doubt anybody has experience there. I need Either an officer or a shop to sign off that it is fixed. Anybody have advice?
$35 ticket is what i was told by a WSPO. just fix it, or have it written off.

this is what you do go get the bulb put it in then go to the local police station and they will give you a paper for the lighting and equipment defect paper they will sign off on it. its like a muffler ticket…
… and if they do, ou get in a lot more shit for lying directly to the police. I’m sure they’d love to cut you adeal after you lie to their face.
If they do you can EASILY say you didnt drive that car to your court day.
