Putting 93 in a lower compression motor or a motor that does not require 93 to run can result in excessive buildup and loss in gas mileage
see my build thread and black heads for example, my dad used to love 93 in the Z even thou 93 was way to much for a stock N/A it never burned right and caused buildup and contaminents in the oil causing my heads to turn black
mad people love seafoam… i tried it 5 years ago in my A4 because they had that widely known sludge problem. i did it in the oil, ran it, drove it, changed oil, and the oil came out almost liek it went it, hoax rip off, die in a fire seafoam
hondas dont have lifters .they have rockers to a cam ,bad rockers would make a tickin sound yes .seafoam works but there is better out there we have all the eng flushing products made by b/g and they are great i use it in all my cars trish ya never called now im upset ya dont trust me esp now that ya went to gills as they are a bunch of idiots there
Seafoam isnt some miricle Ive never noticed any performance increase in any car ive run it in…
Its simply to help buildup on valves and in injectors…
Me and Jim both had smoking problems after running 110 leaded from the station here on altamont ave for a few weeks…
Ran seafoam and it went away… we think it caused some buildup on the valves and jims compression was low… after running seafoam is was completely fine…
Wehn run thru the intake it will help clean up carbon buildup on the pistons as well I’ve seen first hand
95% of additives are complete BS. Running seafoam through the car will just waste your time, and money without resolving the problems.
Oh, and running 93 instead of 87/89 isnt ANY better for your car. Do you think because you buy a “performance” car that needs it means the gas is better?? No. It just has higher resistance to detonation. NOTHING to do with the quality of the gas itself.
ok…did she get the car fixed or figure out the problem??? cuz there is like 700 people talking about absolute bullshit that has nothing to do with the thread…
