So any suggestions on good quality shops? Geico goes through Carruba and I’m not sure about their work.

I’d also like to have a third party do the work so that I can leave out a few items that made their way onto the estimate that I can take care of myself and offset the deductible. (i.e. buffing the wheel, buffing light scuffs, etc)

Also, just noticed that there are scuffs across the hood from the mirror and they put a gouge in the rear door glass/trim. Wtf…

I didn’t have a very good experience with Carruba. Their paint work is acceptable-to-good, but they seem to half ass putting the car back together.

Meh, there are bigger scrapes, structurally, but that is pretty shitty. I want a 335i someday

Thankfully all have been low speed. I’ve rolled up on two hoods and had one passenger mirror smashed off into my back.

I like how the wheels look, but they’re complete garbage. I’ve had to replace 3 already (total of 7 bought so far) and I have to replace these four on the car (11). They bent up quite easily last winter and this winter, simply hitting small potholes, these four are toast as well. I have a feeling that the RunFlat winter tires and the stiff sidewall is putting all of that energy directly to the rim

So… this summer, I think I’ll either switch wheels or buy the same ones in gunmetal. They’re relatively inexpensive, thankfully.

Funny, I have had those wheels for 3 seasons without issue and love them. They are my favorite “cheaper” wheel I have ever bought. The finish on them is great, it really cleans up well after all the salt and snow.

Hit and Run V. A4 happened on Elmwood right near Allen on Saturday night. To top it off I just buffed out some paint from another asshole who hit the car probally in the parking ramp in the same place ugh.

I though maybe it was caught on one of the cameras the city has and called the police. They said they do not investigate ANY vechicle accidents, and if I wanted to report it was just for insurance purposes.
