how would you do it.

Well im planning my winter spring mods,

first is engine work. Absolut must.

after that im thinking Rims and tires (my current tires are pretty bad so i need them)
Suspension
brake work
paint and body.
Others (interior and lighting and such)

any ideas or other ways you guys would do it

you talking about what order to do it?
if so:

tires,
brakes,
body,
suspension,
rims,
other.

How would I do it?

Well… i think i’d just do it. like… give’r a little touch.

oh and, i’d start with tires, suspension, bolt ons, brakes, depending on ur driving style an lsd and possibly a seat, and then back to engine.

How I did it:

  • Audio (speakers, subwoofer, amplifier)
  • Suspension (Swaybars, Bushings, Strut bars, Coilovers)
  • Wheels
  • Collected parts for engine swap (No engine yet just turbo parts)
  • 300zx Brakes (Won’t be installed till Spring 2005)

engine first? how about safety? say tires/brakes, susp, then engine.

I went brakes/wheels(tires, best i could afford!toyo WHAT!!). then eng(due to necessity)./exh. next susp.

oh yeah, somewhere along the way I replaced the drivers seatbelt twicE, wipers could work, if i wanted :twisted: (rainX)

Ah i need to do engine work first, im burning oil pretty good right now, and after a good hard run i knock a little.

after that im still undesided.

My tires arnt bad, just not great and they have a little camber wear on the one side.

Brakes are good, just want more stopping power.

There is nothing really “unsafe”" about my car.

These will be upgrades that if all goes as planned will be done for early to mid summer

I started with a touch of Radio components. grinded in a little Suspension, added about a table spoon of basle.
Next I added a cup of Tires and Rims followed by a light dusting of paint. With little touched here and there and 45 Min in the oven at 350degrees I am pretty happy with the final output. but I beleve that I am going to have to add some franks hot sauce (motor) soon as well as increasing the about of supension added next year.

I’m doing stereo (not because of choice, but b/c I found parts cheap) right now, I have suspension partially(coilovers & shocks), rims from previous owner. Got brakes to some extent (upgraded front rotors, repaired current calipers, new pads). My next mod will be the swap. Then I’ll finish off suspension, then finish off brakes, then upgrade engine again. I think interior after that, I don’t even know anymore.

coilovers AND shocks?

please tell me they are not coilover sleeves…
