you obviously didn’t. :kekegay:
I’ve driven both, the M3 transitions much more nicely and has sharper turn-in. Though it’s severly limited by the tiny stock front tire size. It ends up pushing pretty bad near the limit due to the tire miss-match. The GTO feels very confident and handles well, but it does feel like a larger car driving it. The inputs feel a bit dulled and response is slower. That’s not to say it doesn’t handle very well and isn’t a great car… it’s just not as “sharp” as the M3. Obviously power there isn’t even a question the GTO destroys the M3. The M3 has a decent top end pull and feels linear but it really begs for more HP even when you keep the RPMs high. Also, the sound of the M3 isn’t for everbody. But where the M3 really really lacks is lower end torque. It makes you drive it like a HonDUH to get any power out of it and it makes it far less enjoyable in many situations. It seems like you’re ALWAYS shifting the thing. My buddy’s was a true stick, but granted it was a fun car to shift. The SMG is just pure crap and even all the magazines hate on it.
Nope:

as far as GM & BMW go…
I’d take a CTS-V over both the M3 & GTO
mmmm CTS V
One up in the Mills mall…drool
i prefer the 4 doors…but they are supposed to make a 2dr CTS…not sure if the 2dr with get the V treatment.
STS-V > CTS-v
i like them both but the CTSV is better IMO…especially cause you can get a manual tranny.
XLR-V = yummy, but PRICY & not maunal
audi rs4 - if you’re spending over $50k
Save $15k and get an S60R.
Volvo FTW.
your taste in cars is enough for me to not have to respond…
but take 5 minutes and google what an audi rs4 is then get back to me. it is far ahead any volvo on the market.
i do like the volvos, but would never even consider one over an audi.
V70R > S60R
RS4 avant :bigthumb:
can you get the RS in a stick…i remember a while back only the auto was available in the US = Booooo
The high-reving 420 hp V8 4.2FSI®powerplant. A short-throw, six-speed manual with optimized synchromesh.
Damn that’s a nice audi, but I’d still take the cts-v.
i probably would too…
the 2008 model is supposed to have some changes & a 2dr model…so i’d wait to see that.
average annual maintenance 1-3 years…
where is the 1-5 years or 1-10 years???
2008 CTS-V?
I’ve seen the spy photos of it. Beautiful. 2 door is a go the V model is rumored to have the LS7, but I’m betting the bean counters put an LS3 in it.
