First I try to buy a wrx motor from someone and it took me over a month to get only bits of what I had paid for.

Then I had a painter come and give me an estimate who later asked for $200 for materials which I paid him and never saw him again.

then there is this guy who was A. going to help me find a motor when I originally blew mine, and B. going to swap in the motor once we found one. Well, when I starting having issues finding a motor to swap in he told me he couldn’t find one for me but would buy my impreza for 800 bucks… fuck that with a motor they sell for 6+ … they told me they could get me a stock motor for 1k. So I’m real pissed that hes fucking me around like this and I refuse to do business with him.

So now a few months later I can’t sell the car and I’ve bought a new one… he tells me he still wants it. We work out a deal for 2k+ a stock transmission with only 20k miles on it and no seats.

Well the car is partially dissembled so he gave me a $200 down payment to get me to put it all back together…

He was supposed to pick it up today and instead I get a call in the morning that his seats are no good and he wants me to include the seats. …well sure, for $150 more. So he says no, he doesn’t want the seats anymore but he’ll just come grab the wheels off it in exchange for his down payment. Fuck no

So I think it over and decide what the hell, I’ll finally get it out of my garage and someone else can move in to my garage for $150 a month, so whether he takes it with the seats or doesnt take it at all I’m out $150 either way.

So he shows up and doesn’t have a trailer or tow truck and is like, yea I’m not sure I still want it, I’ll just take the wheels… um, fuck no.

So yep, I have a guy that thinks hes going to get his money back but he’s not and I still have three cars I need sold ASAP.

Fuck everyone. I’m pissed.

with painters you give them a check for 25% up front 25% once primed 25% once painted and 25% once wet sanded and buffed. Hell i have never been to a painter that i didnt pay once the job was completed. Friend or new acquaintance.

Never giving anyone more than $200 for anything unless you have it documented or on a credit card you can dispute the transaction with. I honestly don’t care if you were even dealing with me I would want you to take the same steps.

as for the douche and the impreza, give him the starter thats worth about $200

I assure you that there is more to the story with the paint guy that he said to get me to pay $200 for supplies… and as you said 200 is the limit. I refused to give the guy anymore when he continued to ask.

Its kinda funny that he’s selling it. He probably could have profited just as much by doing the work for me as per our original agreement before he ‘couldn’t find a motor.’

Quarter panels came out great though, all in all the paint looks mint now.

This was going to be my winter car but i cant afford to have two cars this year and need to get rid of one. Unfortunately i relised this after i went through the hole thing to make it like i want.

This car is in mint condition. It runs fine with no problems at all. Completly stock. It has 111k on it, but runs like new. The car has no rust at all on it anywhere. It will come with a sony explod cd player. the one in it now is bran new and will work with your ipod. That one will be left in for $200 on top of the price of the car. I replaced a bunch of parts on the car. (all OEM PARTS with receipts)

What really pisses me off is that the ONLY reason why I didn’t fix it to drive it again myself is because this guy led me on telling me that he could be hired to fix it and that he would find a motor for it. After months with no car of my own, having my fiance drive me around and borrowing cars from my parents I was left with no choice but to sell it and buy a car that I could drive.

I posted a response to the thread:

John. I asked a simple question of who did the paint on it and you send me a reply filled with threats. Its completely unnecessary and uncalled for. Luckily I’m willing to let that slide if you just be reasonable about this all.

I didn’t know that you were trying to pass this car off as all original and I therefore wasn’t aware that I was ruining that for you. Now I am aware of it and I’m not OK with it.

You need to add the fact that the quarter panels have been repainted and that the motor has been replaced with one with different mileage.

I do think this car is mint and I don’t think there is any reason why this information should ruin your sale. I also think its important to be honest with buyers and not to intentionally withhold information from them.

I’ll leave your RS25.com thread alone allowing you to modify the information for full disclosure. I have already asked duesmachina to remove his posts on there. If you do not fix the listing then I will have to A. add the information which you have left out and B. post the threats you made towards me so everyone can be aware of what type of person you are.

A few more things, don’t bother sending me any PMs. I will just post them in this thread in order to reply to them. Also, if I feel threatened any more I will file a report with the police as a precaution in case anything happens to myself or my property.
