In our new house (finally)

^ IIRC it was $20.00 installed (glued and nailed) for ours.

We looked at a few “machine” scraped floors but the cheese factor was way too high.
You could see a machine had made a pattern in each board.:bloated:
Why spend $12.00 on something that looks fake?
We really wanted the house to look 100 years old.
I will get better pictures that show the floor better.

$20.00 actually is not that bad of a price, all of our palo duro floors are about $16-18 then 3 dollars for the install. Def. get some better pictures of the floor though!

gorgeous house congrats man! i love it!

The outside is starting to take shape.
Obviously some clean up and landscaping is needed.
Here is a crappy cell picture of the front.

how long till you pave?

woooow. very nice.

where is this located

it is sweet, not my style but sweet regardless

on a related note, stop crying about Chinese outsourcing, you still seem to be doing ok.

Thanks.

Don’t know you - Not telling;)

I started this project three years ago, things have changed.:ohnoes:

After I win the lottery.
The drive way is aboot 1500’ long!:biglaugh:

Here is the back taking shape.

Not just your typical cookie cutter house.
We tried to get creative with the “tower”, etc.

Most excellent indeed, looks well worth the wait.

wow, that is gorgious! now I dont feel sorry for you on your tax bill :stuck_out_tongue:

Beautiful home man. EA Is a nice town too.

Thanks.

I actually got my taxes lowered a little bit!
I am not sure how much yet because you can not get a straight answer from the assesor’s office.
You would think they had a form with the exact numbers but they just verbally ramble various charges for a bunch of BS.
I swear she said something about dividing by the Bill’s rushing average.:gotme:
I will know once I get my bill.

Plans for a deck on the back?

Wow, that looks amazing!

Probably something like a flagstone patio.
Maybe stamped, colored concrete.

Thanks.

Looking like a great place for the family, Old Man

wow, that is alot of roof. looks nice. what do you have in the basement, i noticed the door but not alot of windows.

One of the great things about SIP(structural insulated panels) construction is that windows can be easily added just about anywhere at anytime with a simple chainsaw.:snky:
(My assessment is high enough.;))
