I have no idea who NSF is but if you go in broadway joe’s and walk out back, the back wall is covered with a huge painting. They don’t know who did it and they don’t care because it it a really nice “tag” The person who painted it even made it to say B JOES. So you’re wrong, there are people with skill. It was still wrong of them to do it but in this case the bar owners actually likes what he did. Unfortunately since then other taggers have messed it up.

i only posted because someone posted “post up a name”, and it would be no one around here who actually writes. they would never paint on a business. there about 6 kids who write/make solid graffitti in this city. you have never seen most of it for a reason.
that being said i fucking hate nsf.
and the sushi bar on hertel is pretty good.

I think there is some sweet graffiti in toronto, most of it on walls where it was commissioned.

National Science Foundation. The tags seem to make no sense because they’re mechanical drawings made by a bunch of engineering students. Take pics of all of them, piece them together, and you have a documentation package for an automatic beer bottle opener. :ham:
NSF (new schools freshest) is a NYC based crew that is pretty much national at this point. They paint mostly freights. Who ever is throwing up this tactless garbage all over the city is not part of NSF.
Buffalo used to have a free paint wall. It was where globe market now stands.

the best tag in WNY is the “I love lamp” on the train bridge over transit near walden.
my shop got hit a few months ago … shitty job … but i just painted over it … from now on im just gonna leave a picture of what i want …

It’s from “The Jerk” which is a Steve Martin classic. I recommend renting it some time.
Go there and see for yourself. If that isn’t skill i don’t know what is. You can’t even tell what it is till you are standing a good distance from it and it looks amazing. It wasn’t the work of a typical tagger thug that no doubt hit mike’s shop, that guy should have his balls cut off.
