Yeah, when our mechanic found they were bone dry he told us to give them a call,I don’t think delta replaces anything but wiper blades
It be pretty great if you walked to the nearest walmart or parts store and bought the wipers there and came back to the car at delta. lol
Technically for u to take the car. They would have to fail you then you would pay a 10 dollar reinspection fee
Delta does offer a 30 day free re inspect. I seriously considered going out and getting my own wipers but I was really busy at my office and couldn’t justify the time.
I was not there with the car, my wife was.
Oil Change Tech Requirements
You must be able to successfully perform the responsibilities of the position but also have a great attitude, team oriented, adhere to all safety regulations, excellent communication skills, be customer service oriented and have a strong work ethic to meet the physical demands of the position. You will be standing, walking and bending for long periods of time and required to consistently work with a sense of urgency. You must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license to work in all lube shop functions. Previous experience a plus, but we do offer extensive hands-on training for eligible candidates.
Yep. You must be at least 18 and have a license to change oil at Delta Sonic. That IS their actual requirements straight from their national site.
It’s frustrating. Had the same thing happen to me with my wife’s car a few months back, at a quick lube place on camp in hamburg near Goodyear (but not good year)
Last time she went there and I told her to say no to EVERYTHING! She didn’t listen to me. They got her on the high-mileage blend deal. Bastards.
It’s just how it is man.
We do, by the book. No more, no less.
That is all the original poster was asking for
I think Black Forest has more than proven they’re a trusted shop to the board.
For the people farther north I’ve been getting my inspections at George’s Mobile, the little shop at the corner of N.Forest and Millersport. I’ve had two cars done there, and three or four people here at work have had 1 or 2 cars each done there with no issues. It’s really convenient for me because I can drop the car there and walk the block or so to work.
Both the mechanics there are family friends good people :tspry:
If it was the delta on transit, I would have said fuck you… I’ll be right back, run to walmart, buy blades there… then bring them back and put them on. “ok, I’m good to go.”
They wouldn’t let you^^, they’d shut the garage doors, believe me you aren’t the first person to try that
SON OF A BITCH. I would have come to you first. Now I know.

But they offer a free 30 day reinspect so I would just pull it out and drive it around the back for them to reinspect. This thought seriously crossed my mind, but again I was at my office and my wife was there so it would have been a disaster to try and explain to her what I was doing and why 6 guys were super pissed at me.
Plus cost you an extra $10 for the reinspect
I could only imagine the pain you would have been going through. lol
Still better than giving Delta Cronic the upgrade sale after they sliced his blades. I still would have said to show me the tapes. Sorry but 99% of the time, a blade on a wiper wont go bad 30 minutes after photos are taken of it, and the blades arent used between the photo and the inspection.
I did this to Don Davis on the Blvd. I went in for an inspection. 1/2" of my wiper blade was torn and it was around $20. I said no thanks.
Drove down to the old walmart, spent $5, slapped it on and brought it back. Got my sticker
That was nice of them to let you go.

“On January 5th, 2010 I decided to get my new 2010 Toyota Prius washed at DELTA SONIC CARWASH (DSCW) at 3439 Erie Boulevard East, Dewitt, NY at 1:23PM. That turned into a bad decision!”
Already going downhill quickly
It is daily when I worked there to see someone filling out a complaint sheet with a manager. I honestly will never get any thing done there again. Only time I did was when I did it and was working there.
