as for the fuel system … keep the stock tank and lines … you can either run a pump controller or just do what i have been doing for years and hard wire it … ask JT he still runs this type of setup
6.0 junkyard motors can be had for 1500 or less complete … not worth looking for an LS1 imo … just dump a carb kit on … a big snotty cam … 125 cheater setup … and run 9’s

Suggestions on where to grab a LQ9/LS1 from? LS1tech is turning up dry right now or they want insane amounts for high mileage motors.

I know you’re probably only interested in an ls1 or 6.0, but if you’d be interested in an lm7 let me know.
LM7’s are great motors, plus you can bore them out to be an iron block LS1.
I have a brand new LM7 block, LS6 crank, LS1 short block, LS7 block with a cracked sleeve, and a few other goodies if you’re looking to buy soon.

this is true at a national level but i have not not seen many here in wny. I know oroc did it with his iroc and i also seen a bug with a 5.3 and a badass 55 with a ls1. I almost forgot cougar with his. I would like to know how many are around on a local level.
I like the idea of a foxbody swap. i know the ls platform really woke up my iroc!
