i like 2 americano rides. terminator, 93 cobra, ls1 ss like your bros! the dumps are sick! pushrods, the stone age technology :nana
nah he’s bitching out because of school work
stone age technology that put a car under the 100K price in the supercar list…
- waits to see direct link from ls1 tech to prove this*
So imagine how bad it would be FWD =P
And Plaf, we are arguing completely different things apparently and neither one of us can manage to each be on the same page so I give up. I’m not at all trying to argue a 4 cylinder is better than an 8 cylinder. All I have been trying to say is there are larger differences between each car than just the engine. The vehicle the engine is in also plays a very large role in how streetable and how fast a car is. In turns, in a straight line, in every aspect.
’
dont need no linky…C6 Z06 is considered a “supercar” and the ZL-1, well…you know.
No such thing as a “ZL-1”
what is a push rod? ive never heard of such a device
wat
yea ik. its proven technolgy hence gm sticking with it.
can you tell me about the LBZ?
the ZL-1 existed in 1969. had an all aluminum 427 in it, very rare as it was an expenisve option, nearly doubled the cost of the car
the 2000 ZL-1 prototype camaro. never made it much further than bob lutz’ desk as far as production was concerned. still a cool concept and a rather nasty looking car with a HUGE engine
Really?
Well the push rod is what operates the windshield wipers duh
oh and joey backed down from adams mustang cause his foot hurt :stfu
prototypes don’t count…they are not seen on the street and are not able to be purchased by the public
:stfu
actually brett, they did make it…I will post the link in a second…

you post direct links like its your job. :sad
if anyone had the money, they could build the ZL1’s engine on their own. a complete parts list is available here
ZL1 parts list
"All 69 cars were B4C coupes with 6-speed manual transmissions except for 2 converted to automatic. Built in March 2002 Roll cages were installed in 28 cars. Three prototypes were: #1-Chevrolet Motor Division #2-Berger Chevrolet and #3-Helen Gibb. Car #1 was built to commemorate Fred Gibbs original ZL1 drag car. Car #69 was a special Phase 4 SR427 built to honor Bill “Grumpy” Jenkins and his ZL1 drag car. 1969 style houndstooth interior was made available and Penske Shocks with 3 different valving options were also available. The 2002 ZL1 was also made available with Z06 style wheels standard or optional Crager SS or Fiske wheels. "
thats not a ZL1, the ZL1 concept had a 572cu/in engine, making 770hp, 683lb/ft that picture you linked says 427 right on the hood.
and that’s exactly what the Dick Harrell edition,or w/e the guys name is, is
there was an orange one in a magazine i have at my house, it’s one that someone built themselves, not a production car
