Even still that doesn’t really matter. The point isn’t just about the security of them, but of the qualities and advantages to owning and using one. Yeah it’s a plus, but its not the ONLY reason why I got a Mac… The graphics on this computer were what I was going to be working with at school. I was ahead of the game because when doing homework and such I could transfer the files from my laptop to the schools desktop imac with no issue. Others had to spend countless hours in the Mac Computer Lab because the files from the PC to the Imac wouldnt transfer.

It sounds like you can justify the purchase.

Everyone has their reasons but, IMHO, spending 2-3X more than a laptop because for a machine that is used for email/browsing because a person can’t figure out how to install AVG is ridiculous.
