I only use dumbbells for presses(flat, incline and decline) seems to work for me

Dave i think I wanna come through a night and workout with ya for a bit, wanna get some advice on what to do, i’ve worked out alot in my life and im pretty cut/defined but I really gotta gain some mass its craziness.
im aware that my diet is killing it for me, i dont bother working out unless my diet is spot on, so thats pretty much why I havent bothered to start up again since last summer
I dont know whats up, but I get tired QUICk when lifting… for example even if im doing some kind of work on a car or whatever, if my arms are over my head they get tired in about a minute or less, tons of lactic acid it feels like (in my shoulders)

Diet is alot but not all… You can get jacked and cut with a shitty diet, you just cant go on stage and win contests… I dirty bulk all the time.

I go light on squats with really high reps (15x25), I want the oldschool Arnold look when it comes to my legs, thin but fucking ripped… My legs are strong as fuck though, I have a pic of my fb doing 465 on the smith machine.

It does… high protein/carb/calorie/fat powders, creatin (ethyl ester is the best) and caffein pills… Everyting else is garbage… imo
if you want to get stronger, eat alot of meat, egg whites, potatoes and whey protein. one scoop whey with water in the am, two scoops post workout. eat hearty after your workout and eat alot overall. lift moderetly heavy, BUT not heavy enough that your form suffers. imo ppl make that mistake the most. guys say they can move all this weight, but they dont do it correctly and would never count for a lift in a competition. BENCH DEADLIFT SQUAT!! 4 sets of 5 is where im usually at with those lifts. if you do those three workouts you will hit all of your major muscle groups. thats how you get strong. and thats how you put on size. put all the steriods and bullshit aside. if you eat right and dedicate yourself to lifting correctly, then you will be very suprised! so will all the other wanna be jersey shore roid heads when they see u outlifting them.

Look at the diff in legs, Sure Ronnie’s are more impressive, but it kinda looks like a joke and I wanna be able to go to the store and buy pants lol… My legs are too big to fit into my boxers as it is, gotta switch over to briefs(stretchy) lol
Word, I try and consume 4,000 calories a day, shit is hard without a shake… I usually do 1 shake within 15 of waking up, 1 within 15 of finishing a workout and 1 before bed (even though carbs before bed arent good)… I really gotta go and get some cassein for right before bed but I gotta use the shit I already got lol

Anyone train at the Golds in Nisky? Not a fan of it really, but recently moved to Rotterdam and it’s the closest one. I still consider Latham Golds my true home gym… miss that place.
Been mostly using a homemade power rack at home a friend from work and I built.
Anyone close to downtown Albany has a great place to train at called Albany Strength. Not beginer friendly, but if you’re looking for a hardcore powerlifting environment this is like Disney Land for you. Closest thing you’ll find to Westside Barbell around here.
