my incident at tims

Dress up! If the judge sees a punk kid in front of him (not saying you are) he will not give you a chance! If he sees a business man/professional then you will have more of a shot to beat the case. KEEP YOUR TEMPER IN CHECK. NEVER have an outburst. Just nod and smile, speak when it is your turn, and ALWAYS say SIR, MAM, or YOUR HONOR!! Make notes when the officier is talking about things you disagree with because you will be able to (or your lawyer) get to cross examine and find holes in what the officer said when you get to ask question to him.

If you car has any markings such as stickers that will clearly make your car appear different then use that as mistaken identity! Etc… you get my drift! OH and dont talk like a professional athlete with all the uhhhmmmm and aahhhhhs. Pauses like that are distacting, so be as clear and professional with tone as possible.

I was going to comment on your planned attire. At the very least dress in business casual attire, not like you are going to a good charlotte show.

But I would probably wear a suit. Fobwall said is bang on

All I got is a suit I wore to a few weddings years ago…overkill?

Hope it fits…fuck

dude you know what my last 2 charges were!, dress nice (I wore a suit)

i didnt even use a lawyer

im going to reiterate what has alraedy been reiterated several times; go to moores or international clothiers and invest in a cheap suit ffs. respect the judge, respect his courtroom and youll be in good standing, the rest is up to your lawyer.

Well thanks for that…?

Like I said. I’m nervous for multiple obvious reasons. Which makes me ask stupid shit…over and over again.

Once again…thanks to everyone for all the support and advice. Helps out a lot!

I fucking hate wearing suits…I feel. Fuckin…weird lol.

But I’ll dig it out tonight and try it on just to be sure. That way If I do have to go. I’m good.

im not putting to much about my car on here for a reason, take my advice if everythings running good and you got gas always dip noo matter what especially if your doing anywhere near 50 over its just not worth stopping. but i never ever do that shit ever…lmao but that sucks man hope all goes allright and for the rest of the sonlings reading this take my million dollar advice. i dono about u guys but that was at least a good 40% chunk of why i baught my car haha

^ Your fucked lmfao

Chris I’m the same way with suits and looking all fancy and shit, its just not me at all, but you gotta do what you gotta doo.

The crown or offence will ask you questions over and over again but word them differently and they will say you said stuff you didn`t, so when you hit the stand remember what your saying as you say it.

and that! is my biggest fear.
I swear…I have a memory loss disease or something.

Well. When I talk to the lawyer…I’ll know what to do after that I guess.

Be confident and firm when your answering questions. Dont beat around the bush…um…uhh…i guess…i think, these just lead to more questions. Fucking police power trip.

This is only aproblem if you’re not telling the truth. If you tell the truth, you don’t need to remember shit…it just is what it is.

dress proper chris, and make sure you go through all the questions they crown may ask you with your lawyer if your going on stand too.

Good luck.

Ahmed…that made me laugh first thing this morning  ahaha. Love it!

Dan: truth or not…this was 4 months ago. If their looking for little holes in my story, i’m pretty sure anyone would have some, right?

Harmit: I’m gonna dig up that suit! lol When I talk to the lawyer, I would imagine he’s gonna notify me of everything I need to know. So we’ll see.

It’s not so much what you know from four months ago, but rather your cknsitwncy in answering relatively the same under intense questioning. The crown wants ton destroy your credibility, which in turn, damages your testimony . The crown is not allowed to ask leading questions in the cross examination.

The examination-in-chief is supposed tk estabikish the time frame, place, and your side of the story. You and your lawyer need to go over this HARD and stick to it of course, because the crown is noting everything as is the judge. If you stick to your story it will be difficult to damage your credibility unless they can prove you were lying.

Remember the officer is open to questioning you are gonna hate his side of the story but you are gonna love the cross.

well…it should be a fun fucked up couple hours at court then…blaaaaah

Chris, I wouldn’t worry if I were you.

As the saying goes:

“If you don’t lie, you don’t have anything to remember.”

EDIT: Just read what Dan said… I guess he beat me to it.

good luck
