This got me caught up in traffic. I was getting so pissed. Traffic on a Sunday going from the 90 to the 290, really!!! lol
Two douchebags on bikes yesterday on Grand Island around 8ish. I’m driving and closing on a car in the right lane doing 70-72mph. bikes come ripping up on the left lane, I know better than to change lanes with these dumb fucks because then when you cut them off from them switching lanes so fast… you become the asshole for it. So I stayed in my lane and these 2 dicks go zigzagging at about 100mph or more, thought they were going to clip the car in the right lane. As a dick comment, I hope you lay that bike down… its gets absolutely obliterated, but you get minor road rash. (yes I wish minimal harm on you, but the bike to be totaled)
So it’s not just the sport bikes who drive like idiots huh?
Another crash last night, 71 year old lady turned in front of a 25 year old on a bike.
I love the fact they say, “May be charged with failure to yield.” Ummm, she turned into oncoming traffic and caused an accident… that’s not illegal? They really need to do retesting for drivers license at certain ages.

We’re now too high to find Sesame St Count pictures and it’s not even June.
I think part of the issue is determining if the other person was doing the speed limit or speeding.
I hate this thread.
An old man rear ended me one time and the cop said, “It was probably black ice”. It was 40 degrees out and I stopped just fine! If I rear ended someone he would have said, “YOU WERE OBVIOUSLY IN THE WRONG, HERE ARE YOUR 5 TICKETS!”
They definitely protect old people.
Old people need to be retested. It’s as simple as that. Holy fuck there are far too many people on the roads looking to kill someone.
And the problem is it wont happen. What’s the average age of a politician these days? You think any of them want to vote in a law that will require them to do more testing and the chance of loosing their license?
If the old person pulled out on a SPEEDING biker, i’d put much, much less fault on the driver, regardless of age.
I still agree though that old people should be retested. My granparents on my fathers side are getting up there and the driving thing has been a topic of conversation. My dad is dreading having to potentially have that talk with them. It’s tough.
…after the collision with the motorcycle, the elderly driver proceeded to drive through the front of a nearby building…
I wouldn’t even care if they retested EVERYONE every 10 years, or whenever their license expires
This ^^^
You think NYS would jump on that.
Charge you a nice little fee to do it too
soooooooooo as of 2012 NYS has a reported 19,378,102 residents.
lets say 10,000,000 of them have a valid drivers license that would need renewal every 10 years.
a modest $30 fee for testing would amount to a $300,000,000 profit for the state to piss away on NYC every 10 years…
its a win-lose?
Did you just move here? The state would need to create a new untouchable authority to administer this retesting which would quickly get filled with do nothing political appointees with pensions and lifetime healthcare. Before long that $300,000,000 in profit wouldn’t even cover operating costs and they’ll need to either raise the fee or tax us somewhere else to make up for it.
No, then they will have to pay for an impact study on how the funds were mismanaged and THEN raise fees AND taxes. Lol
