I can thank my mom for some of this. My first car was slow and that was all I was allowed to have as long as I was under her roof. Looking back at the stupid shit I did I’m pretty sure had my first car been fast I probably wouldn’t be here. Also got a motorcycle while still living at home and no way was I allowed to ride outside of my uncle’s supervision (he was the only adult I knew that had a motorcycle license) while I only had a permit.
I know when my kid gets older there will be a no motorcycle rule as long as she lives with me. I will also help her get her first car and it certainly won’t be a sports car.
This coming from the guy who doubled the power on his kid’s Power Wheels Mustang so that she could drift with it…hahaha

Part of being a parent is being that bad guy who makes the decisions a 16-18 year old is too dumb to make.

I have plenty of friends with bikes. I believe most of them to be responsible adults. I choose not to have one, for a number of reasons. My kids will never have a bike as long as they rely on me for financial aid (live with me, college, car payment, etc.), nor will they be allowed on one. Unless uncle Geoff wants to take them for a ride on the full dresser.
Not a good day for black BMWs, did you see the other one that some old person drove through a building in WNY? lol
Fuck. So what’s the count up to now?
Saw a red cruiser down off the NFB exit from the 290 this evening.

Just got word from a source about this last crash involving the 18 year old. Apparently they spent hours looking for the guys foot. (I guess he ripped into pieces upon impact) They said his foot was over 500ft away up in a tree.
I feel horrible for the tech, anyone know how he’s holding up after this. I couldn’t imagine a head falling into my lap with blood splattered all over the inside of the vehicle.

Sorry but why should I care, if he had no regards to anyone on the road, why should I have any regards to the situation. Graphic or not. Its something that a fellow member of the car community had to go through. If I were a family member or friend, I would keep my ass away from anything that said motorcycle wreck if it was that bad.

Not necessarily agreeing but how many of us don’t look at a crash scene as we pass by in slowed traffic.
