I thought drifting wasn’t allowed at dunnville!
We were not drifting, we were grip driving, which happened to pass the adhesion limits of the tires in certain corners at random times when attempting to set fast lap times. shrug
^^ I’ve tried explaining that to the track owner too. He never bought it.
Maybe because I had a Drifting sticker on the my rear bumper.
yeah i have 4 extra outter lips for them anyways.
Samson, it’s an issue of intent. We didnt go there specifically to drift… but of course we did end up sliding a fair bit.
i was in the back behind the driver seat… Mike (MPD) driving… absolutely nuts… he got soooo sideways out of grand curve, dipped all but the front 1/4 of the car off the track into the rocks… i ducked down because i swore we were going to roll… but he carried it right back onto the track and corrected it… no way could i have done that and i didnt spin once all day
You call that a fire? Pfftt… drove it home… thats a light flame.
Nice times though.
So what excatly was the cause of the fire? What heated up?
oil through the BOV… i always get it on the hood… but it never gets that intense under there… it was just too much by the end of the day
