thats a tough question to answer haha. I thought i"d have the motor by now but its been delayed along time now. Hopefully that will ship out by end of next week and i’ll have it in another week and assembled in another week. So first 2 weeks of June I may have enough stuff here to finish the car and maybe even fire it. That depends if i can get all the little things done in time and everything goes in time.
Still gotta get the parts ceramic coated and fab up the rest of the exhaust. That hopefully will be next, but we’ll see. Alot needs done yet
Motor and assembly will be here MONDAY. Hopefully, thats what the freight company said. Cant wait.
Did my door panels FINALLY
Matching corbeau seat material on the panel. Bottom is black vinyl from Corbeau as well.
40 bucks a yard, only need yard each color. 8 bucks for the hardboard backing from lowes.
Not bad for a 50 dollar a piece panel in the end. Fits the car well enough for me. Not too fancy and easy to do.
It really wasnt that bad. My problem was i sold my original panels before making the template for the door. I just used poster board and cut to fit and then transfered that to the hardboard.
Would have been much better if I used the original door panels as a template. But these ones worked out really well.
Motor arrived tuesday. Going to assemble most of it this weekend i hope but we’ll see how that goes. Converter for the trans arrived as well, so at the very least i can get the tranny swapped out
