S13 Seibon Carbon Fibre doors

These look really nice, but they each need a few hours of fabrication to get all the parts to fit.

None of the holes are big enought for any hardware and more often then not where you have to install something, it is too thick. It may be 1/32" on the stock door, but on the seibon door it is a 1/4" You will need a rotory tool with a wand extension to reach some places.
Some holes were not even drilled, the holes for the window stopper at the top were not there, the holes for the mirrors were not there, but they were sort of roughed in.

The weather stripping where the door meets the window does not fit… at all. If the window is down it will tuck inside the door and when you roll it up the window will rub against the door. It does look good when the window is up, it is really flush. I just have to remember to not roll the window down all the way.

I will get some pics up when it is all done and installed. When I get the second door off I’ll do a weight test and see what is actually saved.
