^ Negative good sir.
Just track wheels, did some ripping at mosport road course on wednesday. Set of R888’s on it, car felt really nice around the track and ran problem free all day.
Next day I put on my newly aquired roof rack, and bike attachments. Along with the Volk Touring Evolution wheels, muteki neo chrom lugs, RPS13 kouki rear center panel, new sunroof seal and some other neato stuff.
your car is really nice. that is all.
Look good from the outside however i would have rebuild the engine…

Finally got the car put away two weekends ago after braving the weather for wayy to long. Just finished work and am going back to school on the 8th, so I have a week and a half to get ALOT of shit done. Time to Do Work.
30mm calipers disassembled and ready for powder coat
Bagged and tagged
Got a new OBX helical diff for pretty much free, so I desided to give it a shot. I dont like using knockoff parts, don’t trust them and dont like supporting the companies that make them but in this case, theres not much choice out there for a helical diff, S15 diffs are hard to come by and a quaife unit is wayyy out of my budget so I figued why not. Did some reseach and found out the belleville washers they come with are complete shit and known to disintegrate so I ordered a washer set from rbryant.org. I replaced the hardware with new 12.9 while I had it apart as well.
Washers that it came with
New stack of washers, it took a good amount of tial and error to find the right configuraton of washers to get the right amount of preload set.
Back together
Started tearing into the engine and wiring
Going to eliminate any un-needed wires, wire in the AEM sensors and reloom the engine harness, and clean up the body harness as much as I can with my time restriction, I’d like to do a fuse box relocation but we’ll see.
That as far as I got on day 1, will post more as I get time.
Looks good keep it up
i was about to start cleaning up my wiring as well, but got worried that i would regret it and end up with a mess of wires all over the place… maybe you’ll inspire me
Had the week off for reading week, got some good sledding in and made some progress on the car. Got alot of little boring shit done like resealing the oil pan, welding on broken bumper brackets, cleaning parts ect… But got some semi-cool stuff in too.
Started mocking up the supercharger and drew up the adapter plate so I could model it in CAD.
Had some Devcon two-part polyurethane that I bought a while ago and some spare motor mounts so I figured might as well give it a shot. Filled the mounts, we’ll see how they feel, I’m not expecting much and still planning on buying some drift freaq mounts when money allows it.
Got my calipers back from powdercoating, also got the valve cover and ps res. done in the same colour
New seals and boots installed
AMS Z32 BBK and hawk street pads ready to go on… or so I thought. The AMS kit does not bolt onto an S13, The Z32 caliper mount is thicker than the S13’s so I’m going to need ~8mm milled off the adapter brackets the offset the caliper in the center of the rotor.
Started tearing things apart for the Z32 ebrake assy. Man its amazing how dirty things can get in 2 years.
Ebrake assembly from the junkyard
All cleaned up and ready to go on
Walbro 255 installed
Getting the stupid flare fitting out of the S13 BMC was a PITA, managed to get it out finally though and installed it into the 1 1/16th" BMC
Then I went about plugging the PCV ports on the upper intake mani by threading them and inserting 3/8" plugs, no need for that bs.
Then I ported the supercharger inlet from 2.5" to 3" since I’ll be running 3.5" from filter to TB and 3" from throttle body to supercharger. Its still in the rough stages cause I’m waiting till I get the flange made up till I can properly port match it.
Thats mostly it for now, more to come soon hopefully.
This build thread is cool. No outsourced stuff here!
