OK the reality is the car is good and fast, and it might bet a bike. But the main think is The kid learned and has fun driving it, the rest will be just stories to be told to his kids LOL
BUT after an all night, it’s alive and on the road again.
Thanks to Acidz and Foot and Peter and Christine from SRI Motorsports for the help, the cage is in. Lessons learned. Next!!!
P.S. Pete I hope you get your ride, watch your head on second gear shift.
I think, Acidz may even toss you the KEYS for all the help

Thanks everyone that gave me a hand tonight on gettin it back alive! THANKS!!!
last night the u-joint on my driveshaft said its last words. Today we took the shaft out and checked it out and it didn’t end up looking good at all. It’s missing like half the cup! lol That’s ok i’m sure will have it up and running tmr once we get our u-joint tmr afternoon
you are a dick!! you need to be banned. I saw when draggone beat up on those to bikes.
Back on topic… i hope your car is back on the road soon times cause that thing was looking NIIICCCCEEEEE!!! and sounding dirty lol… make sure when you hit the track its on a Sunday cause i wanna see the beat run (selfish i know)
Chrysta and I are more than happy to help out. Renne…You have turned me to the 2JZ. We will get that drive shaft back up and ready in good time. I am looking forward to another clean run. To all you happy bike lovers!!! This car running around 50% with 2 people is pulling about as hard as my R1. More left in it!!! I have been assured. Being on bikes for 5 years, I will let all you know first hand what it will do when we get the bugs out. Keep on it Renne and Steve. Chrysta and I are on board until the end.
I am proud to announce that Acidz will have the first developed SRI Motorsports solid suspension in his ride. This product will be available as soon as he approves of the design and performance. I am very proud to donate this set to such a nice ride and a great person. Keep it up boys. See you in the AM.
So after fixing the ujoint in the shaft we still had a bit of a shake in the rear end. As you can see from the pics below we pulled the diff out and checked it all out, it came to our attention that the input shaft on one of the sides was slipping in and out and that the clip that goes in the gear was missing. Now we decided to check out the diff, the ring and case around that gear was beat up do to wear. Also it came to our attention that an s13 diff could be used just by changing the rear cover and so we went to check it out and it doesn’t seem like it’s possible due to the ears on the s13 diff being smaller.
Anyways we are now trying to find an s14 diff or a j30 diff to put in the rear end
Hurry the fuck up and get that POS on the road so we can all do some passes at Cayuga.
Looking good man. Now Steph needs to get his slug goin. Oh wait, he’s waiting on me to get him the AEM and other stuff…lol
over the past weekend i broke my u-joint on back of the shaft @ the track cut it right off lol…anyways i got everything fixed & the car is back up and running.
The plan is to leave it the way it is right now and next season im upgrading to a bigger rear end and a lot bigger u-joint to support the power levels i plan to run
Last night i moved onto the rear diff, axle and hub install!! i removed my rear s14 axles + hubs and along with the s13 diff i had in it. I just need to drill out the hubs to accept my 14mm knurl studs with 60mm extend i have all around besides that just clean everything up to look mint and we are good to go. Well i have 2 old pics of the new sound deadening i put in the car after i removed all the old stuff.
Well boys the season is now coming to an end & i must say i had a few problems here and there, but next season should be better! i couldn’t go out this season without a bang i guess…
I broke my first gear in my tranny last night!! lol i also think 2nd and 3rd are on there way out.
lol…well all depends what happens to tell you the truth. I’m lookin into the six speed for next year, but if stuff doesnt go well then ill just buy the rebuild kit and whatever else i need and rebuild it @ home.
