are you sure? i went with riyad and he never mentioned anything about doin that.

if your like me and dont care its not necessarily required.

i did the minimal ammount of wiring since I had aftermarket everything to monitor these things.

like chris said theres really only like 4-5 wires you actually need to hook up to make it run and drive, but if you want cluster stuff and other things its obviously more.

Ive done it a few times in both 240sx and 180sx and have had really no issues, it took me less than 8 days to transfer everything from one car to another and be out drifting

well for 1500 i suppose it isnt bad…but 1000$ extra fro mckinney mounts, t3/t04, gtr injectors, z32 maf, tune, downpipe, external WG, all lines, centerforce dual friciton clutch, new headgasket, timing belt, idler/tensioner pulleys, headstuds, nismo thermostat, etc…wtf am i selling this for so little again?

no doubt your selling a great package. but 2 things. I am NOT looking for anything BUT stock. Also I am getting absolutley everything I need including w/p and t/b plus fuel pump w/ sending unit. cradle, everything. un cut harness blah blah blah.

you dont need to swap the oil sender unit… but your stock plug wont plug into the rb one… an even if you are running extra stuff isnt it nice to have one extra sensor saying your oil is oil/lack of pressure? for the3 min it takes to swap it out

lol perhaps if i kept a oem cluster i suppose, but oem instruments warn uyou when iys too late

hey guys i’m in the process of putting the motor in. i need help asap!!! i need to know what to do with the tranny mount. how do you make it work. i was told it bolts right in but its no where close. everything else is lined up but the trans mount is far away from being bolted in. someone let me know asap please!

did you use an R32 cross member?

turn the trans mount around? (so I have heard)

Stu, I used an S13 cross member, bolted right in. I don’t know if the R32 cross member works or not.

im tryin a r32 one, i dont think it works so now i gotta find a KA crossmember…anyone got one???

oh, and using an r32 cross member for both engine and trans makes her fit a noiiiice.

with the rb crossmember it will sit about 1" further up in the enginebay and about 3/4" higher.

this issues i faced withmyu swap was that there was not enough clearance forthe fans which ultimately made me have to cut up the core rad support to allow adequate room for cooling.

RBs in S chassis have quite a few quirks you need to work out. take advice from someone whos done it, its not as cheap and easy as one thinks.

i’m going with a pusher fan to make clearance. your gonna need a KA x member for the trans like me. the r32 trans corssmember wont work unless your planning on drilling new holes.
