Few photos below of a recently purchaced GTR. Car is a mix of old and new and was fairly cheap. Gear box is an older Trust 6 speed and a pain in the arse to drive. Possibly a dog box and short on life.
Very cool man.
like the Vice style Mine’s sticker
good stuff, keep 'em coming! very very intriguing pics
Short little video here. Dont mind my yapping, just trying to elaborate on the tranny and driveability isssues for the buying customer.
if it’s a dogbox you have to shift FAST or DOUBLE CLUTCH.
No syncros!
that is normal.
you need to change the fluid every 1500 miles.
UP shift faster, its going to sound like shit if you shift slow it was designed to allow you to shift faster, it will sound mechanical if you shift faster like a clink sound as it engages.
Now, depending on how the dog gears are cut, this will determine how you need to down shift. If the gear is back cut you can just get off the throttle and the gear box will immediately go into neutral, if it is not back cut it should stay engaged. Either way you will probably need to double clutch and stop grannie shifting like you should (had to) but seriously you need to double clutch to get it to match speeds.

This was just another custom order. Now sold and destined for B.C. Customers plans are to put a STD box in it, replace the ECU with an Apex FC and then have it properly mapped for CAD fuel.
Have a very nice Drag SPL Supra RZ arriving today from Phoenix Power. Will share details with all of you.
Oh and my job…I source vehicles for export and deal with parts.
