Restaurants that don't suck thread

Went to O3 on Elmwood with my wife yesterday. We had been there before, but it did not seem to live up to some of the hype I had heard. Yesterday’s meal was terrific. I think we just ordered wrong the first time…

Went for lunch last summer and it was meh so maybe it deserves a second try.

It does. We had the brunch yesterday, it was killer. Also, their guacomole and chips were great.

I’m super behind on updates, but yesterday I went to 800 Maple, blah

For anyone that enjoys real BBQ, which is pretty much non-existent in NY, check this place out over on county pass transit rd in clarence. BBQ is the best I’ve ever had in NY and would rival some places in texas.

I had the brisket sandwich and it was perfect, the girl had the wild bill sandwich which was ok, but not hardcore BBQ.

had brunch at BRKB a couple weeks ago. ruined me for most brunches.

They also have the best patio in Buffalo, however, I have yet to be to Tappo (it opens Saturday)

This is out by my sister-in-laws house we had it for mothers day I think…it was pretty good, still prefer wil’s

Went to Phoenix on Amherst in Blackrock, meh is all I can say.

It wasn’t great and it wasn’t horrible, just real mediocre.

Just got home from there now…been my favorite place in town since they opened…plus I can walk there if I want, that’s kind of cool…

Aroma won Buffalo Spree Best Wine and Best Brunch (shameless plug).

checking this place out tonight

I haven’t updated this in a while but I’ve been a lot of fantastic places over the last few months, here’s a few shots:

Start off local: Left Bank not too long ago, pork tenderloin with cranberry glaze, pretty good, but I have had better, I was a little dissapointed because of all the hype people make about this place.

Next was my stop in Austin Texas, everything was fucking delicious where I went
This brisket was out of fucking control, holy fuck it melted!!!

The people at the restaurant were really cool, they asked where I was from then sang this song involving Buffalo, actually kind of awkward lol

Followed by some delicious Tex Mex

<-- This isn’t really Mexican (I don’t think), but fucking awesome

Everywhere I go I must try the calamari, I’ve probably had over 100 different calamari appetizers, this was pretty good, but nothing to shit my pants over

This Steak was outstanding, and it should be for 65$

I noticed all the steakhouses in Austin were priced almost the same

Next stop Vegas!!! My FAV trip every year, besides raving my balls off, the foods always amazing, and this year I made a point to check out a few of Ramsay’s restaurants.

Portobella Burger, best burger I’ve ever had hands down, as it should be since it was $30

Next Stop was his Pub at Caesar’s

This is the best fucking mixed drink I’ve ever had, some type of spin on an appletini, had about 7 or 8, ran the tab out the ass

Prime Rib Sandwich, also outstanding

Then came FRI SAT SUN night, 7pm to 7am, RAGE RAGE RAGEEEEEEEE, no food but still fun!

Can’t wait for next year!!! I have a couple more cities I’ve been to with some good eats, but haven’t uploaded the pics yet.

If anyone on here ever wants to travel someplace random for food or whatever, hit me up!

You say fuck a lot.

If you’re in Syracuse, check out http://secondnorthdeli.com/ - they have a great London Broil & make home made potato chips.

It’s located in a :tif: area though.

$30 for a burger F that

stop taking so many pictures of your food, it’s stupid and you probably look like a huge loser every time you do it.

Are we adding places from around the country now?

Well there are Canadian restaurants in here too.

I think it is best to keep the places local to the forum members at least…I mean who really gives a shit about a restaurant in Wichita, Kansas…
