The only part that bothers me is he killed someone else with his poor decision.
I dont care what anyone says about this. The poor dude is dead, yes what he was doing was stupid and reckless and he should of known better than to drink and drive at rates of speeds that high as we all do.He obviously was a repeat offender with speeding and reckless driving.I know a shit ton of you on here at least 50% are guilty of it as well. Ryan was obviously a car enthusiast as we all are, so obviously you are not always going to drive according to the law. But to say he deserved what he got is beyond ignorant as fuck and uncalled for. He made a living and became who he was, living on the edge and taking risks. In my opinion, no one on this earth deserves to die besides people who kill someone on purpose and intentionally. Yes Dunn’s passanger was killed because of his stupidity, but he ran that risk knowingly getting into his car with him, knowing how Dunn drove, knowing who Dunn was. Dunn crashing his car killed himself and his passanger.Yes it could have killed innocent people that had nothing to do with it, but the fact of the matter is, that it didnt. The way I look at it is a terrible tragedy that is going to affect and drastically change thousands of peoples lives.
Parents lost a son, siblings lost a brother,friends lost a friend, a wife lost a husband, and the list goes on. Let this be a wake up call to everyone. You are not invincible, your life can flash and be taken in the blink of an eye and that when its over it affects soo many more people than you ever imagined.So think long and hard before you take a life taking risk, because you just might not make it out alive.
On that note Rest In Peace Ryan Dunn. You will be missed!
So any one that has killed a person intentionly should die. What if that person was defending his familly, A solider fighting for his life.
I never understood why people get upset when some idiot was drunk, drove off the road and killed himself, when local soliders are being hurt and killed daily, Yet no one really cares

Not many who own vehicles that can perform beyond the limits of “civilian” transportation will tell you they’ve never pushed the speed envelope. Adding a variable like alcohol is a good way to increase the chances of disaster and decrease the chances you will go home in one piece. If alcohol affects your ability to react to a change in the environment, then saying that driving at high speeds with one eye closed is OK too. Alcohol impairs your ability to react and gives you a handicap, just like driving with one eye closed would. It’s a shame that he is gone. It’s a bigger shame that his passenger died as well and that he may not have had a choice about the speeding, but he may have had a choice about getting in the car in the first place. If your going to do something stupid, like speeding, and take a chance don’t lessen your chances by drinking.

Oh, on a side note, I hear the Westboro Baptist Church (the same jerk offs who show up to protest military funerals) are going to do the same thing at Dunn’s funeral. They might want to consider the type of people they’re going to be offending (or f’ing with). I don’t even want to try to imagine what the Jackass crew could come up with in retaliation for their little protest.
Some of you guys have a very harsh outlook. That or you have made way less mistakes then I have. Dude is dead guys, think of his friends and family and show respect. Even if I don’t know someone in their passing I feel a certain amount of respect is owed not only for them but for those who loved them no matter the cause. Death is tragic no matter who and how it was inflicted.

That being said, (in lieu of all the nyspeed drama), RIP Ryan Dunn…he was a funny dood that happened to make one too many mistakes.

It was Ryan motherfucking Dunn. Blowing a .196 the guy was just starting to feel good. After all these years, alcohol was just naturally in his blood. You don’t become a Ryan Dunn by drinking bottled water. The average person may be piss drunk at .196, but Dunn, he was just getting started.
