update on the car…
S1DC put it on the ground, we started it up… ran pretty good.
i have a new chromed knock-off intake manifold on it.
drove the car 1.5 hours to SG Motorsports where it is at right now.
retune, electrical gremlins, turn some loose bolts, make some adjustments, re-dyno / re-tune etc.
I hounded our Exec. VP and he said he will finally get me some free paint, and i will be chatting with our largest multi-store owner this week about painting the car… going to keep the blue now.
CCW faces are out for painting… the wheels are fully disco’d waiting for the new faces… i have new lips as well.

I have been working hard of late, but not on the car at all…
i’ve managed to produce a handful of items that have found there way onto the motor and just got some more in last week.
You’ve seen the coil pack cover… now here is the mmost badass oil cap on earth for a nissna motor:
Solid 6061 Billet, raised and scalloped. The tooling to cut the thread was imported from Mitsu of Japan. Ask anyone who has held it, it’s too awesome to put on a car.
Anodized than brought back and ran through the CNC again… so friggin impractical.
we did a few different kinds of spacers but will ultimately just be doing a universal 4/5 x114.3 hubcentric for nissan hubs.
I needed to spacer out the CCW’s by quite a bit to clear the coilovers and brakes (stupid FWD offset) and i am not a fan of janky china adapters so we built these:
1-piece, solid 6061 billet aluminum. The street-side hub centric lip is custom spec for the CCW Classic’s center bore and then the lip peeks through into a custom center cap bearing the Bings logo… again anodized then brought back and run through the CNC again… pyscho.
I get the wheel faces back tomorrow.
Hopefully mike will get up here and put my flares on so i can finally get the car painted.

i bought a new S13 SR blacktop SR20DET motorset… it is going in the blue coupe…
this one:
i am taking the built motor out of the car before it blows up, sending it to the reputable machine shop that built SR’s for some friends, namely for the Modified Mag S14 project owned by Peter Tarach.
I’ll have the motor inspected and rebuilt and have the built block on the side… meanwhile, the block that goes into the car will go from the 14psi i ran before (scared it would explode) up to 18-19psi… at 10whp per psi that should translate into 360 - 370whp.
these wheels will be going on… now painted in some crazy purple flip colour… new outter lips put on…
i have brand new 275/45/17 Falken FK-452’s for the 17 x 10.5’s in the rear and some ZR rated Coopers in 235 for the front… i’ll eventually go R-comp or Falken RT-215 on all four corners… but not yet… need to save some cash…
since i bought this for a daily driver:
1997 Kouki S14
with a mint S14 SR under the hood
it has the stock T28 good for 270rwhp or thereabouts…
the guy i bought it from already had my shifter, catback and test pipe installed… it’s very clean… but not 100% mint…
needs a windshield trim and a couple other knick knacks.
i just ordered the elusive OEM Kouki lip for the car today… $400 later…lol
i also have Stance GR+ on the way and they could be on as soon as this weekend…
i may drive this car to Watkins Glen if my coupe isnt ready with the new motor.
This Kouki will get a mild FMIC kit a good EBC and will run 10-12psi for daily driving… i’ll have to make the exhuast more subtle and quiter somehow as well… should be good for 240 - 250whp and low low low…
the Welds on my coupe in the pic above will likely go on this kouki for the winter… then i’ll grab some winters and cannonball this fucker through the snow.
has electronic corrosion protection, plus i’ll undercoat it…
