lol, please note that this is only temporary

yeah, until is explodes…

the first tire shop i took these too fucking ganked me…

they cut the bead on one of my 225 R-comps then told me they couldnt mount them because the wheels were too wide. Said they couldnt even mount the 275’s on the 10.5… what total fags… that’s a stock Corvette app.

the secnd tire shop, in the same plaza… fucking ruled… mounted 3 wheels like this and onl wanted $30 cash… i gave them $40 for NOT being Total Faggots.

So now i have 1 R-comp mounted on the 9.5’s but i cant use it… so i have to go to mississuaga tonight to buy 235’s for the front… then i have a set of 225 RT615’s coming for the 9.5’s to see if they can be mounted…lol… would prefer them up front for the weekend.

they are 45 series, where as the R-comps are 40 series, and teh R-comp sidewall is alot stiffer, so these pussies at the place i ordered the tires from better not suck. They’ll have to Rcomp to dismount, so if they cant mount the larger / softer 225 then hopefully they will feel worthless and kill themselves.

if they cant hack it… the tires go back to these other guys that did a wicked job for me today… i gave them free gum.

So what happened with the S13 anyways? You haven’t updated your first post.

well…

i have to decide which car i will drive to Wakin’s Glen.

The coupe is supposed to be ready with a fresh SR blacktop with all my goodies on it other than the HKS cams which we found were scored pretty bad today. i’ll get another set in a few weeks.

the Kouki is reliable and gets fantastic gas mileage, so i am leaning towards driving it… that is why i had the 235’s mounted out back, because i dont think the 275’s will fit the Kouki stock fenders. Eventually they will go on the rear of the coupe when i get the flares on.

so the coupe is fine…

^ bing are u serious??? s14’s have huge fender wells they arent like the 13. roll the lip on your quarters and put the 275’s on that slut

this is my DD and will be my winter car… i dont want to hack it up too much.

plus the offset on the 10.5 is about +20 (measured by hand), so it is pretty aggressive, i dont want to try the 275 on there when i need to drive it this weekend.

My Fikse fit a 275/40 in the rear and they are 10.5…but the offset it +35mm. I couldn’t imagine trying to fit a 275 on the rear with 15mm less outer clearance.

Kouki is lowered on STANCE GR+… this is some daily now… just need a quieter exhaust.

awesome pics man

dont worry about this anymore:

This car looks funny on account of the wheel contrast… have to do some work to make the fronts fit.

Bridgy Potenza S03’s 265/40/17 rear and will have RT-615 on the front in 225/45/17… should have gone with 235 or 245 on the RT’s but i bought in haste…

hopefully these S03’s will cure some of my oversteer…and hopefully the RT’s will be enough grip for street/track.

the CCW’s up front should provide ample cooling for the brakes over the Welds, which are going to have the tires rotated then be mounted onto the Kouki.

they have Kuhmo MX in 245 so i dont know if the RT’s will fair much better up front we’ll see…

after i spend all the tires i have for this thing i’ll likely go with R-comps full time seeing as how this car wont see the street too too often.

at the moment i need it to serve dual-duty until i get done to the kouki what i want before winter.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee tire stash

where’s MPD at?

Nice rear tires.

I’m in Philly. Car looks good bing.

I’ll have to go take a photo of my storage unit when I come back to NY

On the track at CSCS a few weeks ago, turned a low 1:29 but my turbo was spitting oil for serious into my intake so i couldnt hammer on it otherwise i’d lose all throttle on occasion… also, there was some semi-serious rubbing on the rear tires so i had to change my lines a bit to avoid that. Less than 3 seconds off the fastest car on street tires (M3)

Turbo is out for re-sealing at Precision Turbo in Ohio, i have a new evap set up going on. Likely not ready for Aug 29, shooting for the other CSCS make up date on Sept 7. Should definately be on attack on teh 13th adn 27th this year.

Also did drift at CSCS… this video has one of my runs at the last 14 seconds of the video. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RKdbYCOjco

Nice work, you have this thing in a high state of tune, I would like to get a ride in it @ Dunnville since I owned two s13 turbos

So my Kouki now has an S14 Kouki style lip… first one out of the mold…
