One second you go from being a 90 year old grandpa to a 17 year old girl. Red mercedes? Or maybe you are trying to pickup the girls from high school… :pedo:
At least it’s a manual…
lol I never claimed to have good taste in cars. So what’s wrong with a Mercedes C240?
There is nothing wrong with it, I just see this being a dream car for my best friends younger sister or a lonely housewife. HAHA It actually doesn’t look that bad, but I would just be worried about the maintenance after 130k miles. I don’t know too much about them, but I would imagine the costs could be through the roof.
DO NOT BUY
WHO ARE YOU AND WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH FRY
didnt you buy a new truck a few years back? why the extreme downgrade??
IMHO it’s impossible to downgrade from a truck to a car… who wants to drive a truck around if you don’t have to?
I like both of my cars a lot but sometimes I really miss driving my TBSS around. I think I have some type of magnet that requires super tall SUV’s and vans to park on both sides of me in any parking lot.
It was 5 years ago that I bought an Xterra new. Now I don’t have time for a boat (baby came) so I sold that. I upgraded to a newer house that doesn’t need a ton of work. If I don’t need to tow a boat or haul lumber or whatever for home projects then I don’t need to be driving a boring SUV or paying for 17MPG to get me and my briefcase to work and back. As for not getting something equally as nice, see: baby. Money is a bit tighter than I like it. I mean, I could just go buy a new car but I’d rather put my money elsewhere for a year or two.
LOL of course I’m not going to buy a damn mercedes. I was just surprised to see something so shiny in my chosen price range. I’ll bet dollars to donuts (the fuck does that even mean?) that I wind up with a Nissan, Honda, or Subaru. Sedan or wagon. Or a Vibe/Matrix if I can find one with a stick. I’d consider a Volvo or Saab, but a $5k Euro car is kind of like driving around a grenade with a loose pin: Maybe you’ll get away with it, or maybe you’ll get your wallet blown off.

So you see the attraction. You could probably pull off a mother/daughter tag team with a red mercedes.
you sold your baby!!! that’s horrible.
I don’t remember the last time I was at a bar.
+1 for Saab. How sad that a CTS is worth $7k and was $30K new. Get a car that holds it’s value if your gonna sell it in a couple years. Not a Chevy
What are your thoughts on these two?

Any of you guys ever own a 2003+ 9-3? How often do the turbos go and what’s it cost to replace? High mileage turbo cars worry me.
I think you should get the truck I posted in OT. It’s free if you’ve got the proper skills.
Without looking, I’m sure I don’t have the skills.
…to pay the bills?
That '06 Saab looks nice…
It does look nice. The 5 speed Saab’s are fun to drive.
Mauh there are nice trucks. My wife’s GMC with heated leather/Bose and all the goodies is very nice and faster then 75% of the cars out there.
