nasty looking lifted gray (primer?) late '70’s Ford F350 dually with huge stacks pulling an empty car trailer on the northway this morning.
Definitely a conversion because they didnt make dually pickups back then.

Im pretty sure that 1980 was the first year for a Ford dually pickup.
Yeah there were dual rear wheel trucks but I dont think they made one with a pickup bed though, just flatbeds, dumptrucks, etc.
This one was an extended cab with an 8’ bed and had red dually fenders.

When I went to my brother’s house in Schenectady there was a guy pushing a shopping cart full of bottles and another guy carrying a fishing pole walking down the street together. When I parked the truck the guy with the fishing pole said “If I gave you $3 would you take us to Duane avenue?” Of course I said no.
Then I saw this guy in FYE in Colonie Center:
