Not much progress, haven’t had a ton of time this summer, mostly just finding parts. This is also partly because I can’t make up a decision on a motor. Not sure if the VH is going to have to potential I want. I have a KA24 sitting in my garage that I could build and boost, or I could get a VQ35, as mount kits are starting to come out.
And sorry, the motor has been sold.

It’s the best option. Light, compact, lots of torque, tons of HP potential. The T-56 trans is awesome as well, and is pretty well bulletproof once you get a good rebuild.
All true. I know the least about that motor though. I’m gonna have to do some reading and learn more about it.
There’s not a whole lot you need to know. Pick up an 01-04 ideally, but anything '99+ is great. '98 is not as great, but really nothing wrong with them. Corvette and F-body engines are the same except for accessories. RX-7 swap guys want the f-body accessories for the easiest swap.

Decided on the turbo KA24 route. Because I like turbos, because parts are pretty cheap, and because I have a long block in great shape sitting in my garage.
Just picked up this T3/T04E and an intercooler. Gotta find the time to finish tearing the motor down and then its gonna get checked out. Suggestions on where to take it to get hot tanked, decked, honed, etc?
