I have a feeling we all know the owner…
ohhhh shit that sucks, im used to seeing hondas like this…well completly stripped but that poor gtr…reminds me of the 08 mugen civic that someone stripped at a dealership.
where in NY was this?
That sucks looks like its in a good neighborhood too
shit that sucks…i would hate to be that guy when he walks outside to see that…
rockland nissan blauvlet ny
thieves will be thieves, but seriously who owns a high profile car with expensive wheels and doesn’t invest in a decent set of wheel locks?
Thats really sad, just shows why locking lugnuts are one of the best improvements you can get.
Wow. That sucks so much, it seems unreal! Thats not a photochop right?
definitely a negative on the PC
Sad. Seems like you can’t have anything nice because there’s always someone out there to ruin it.
What’s the MSRP on GTR wheels? Guessing $2500+.
For one, may be.
Well, that sucks.
New? Add dealer tax. Add Ray’s Engineering tax. Add Skyline GTR tax. Likely close to 1K per wheel, plus sensors, plus tires. They are on forums though for sub $2K/set used
yeah sucks well the car had to be sitting there for a few days from the rust on the rotors so they probably scoped that shit out, OR maybe they had buddies do it so he can get a nicer set of rims to put on at the expense of the insurance company, besides no thieves I have known ever left a jack behind.
Got to be over 1k a wheel if you buy from the dealer. My cobalt stock alloy is $600+ for ONE if you buy it at the dealer.
Your likely right. The steelies on the diesel are probably $500 a piece from Gendrons!
+1
also, what kind of alarm do those things come with??? you would think that a $70k car would come with a decent alarm…unless the car was unlocked but then again why wouldnt you lock you GTR???
my SS has a damn security system thats so sensitive its annoying. If you even put a jack under the car and tap anything it goes off…hell, it goes off in thunder storms.
Is this the guy whose plate said something like my other car is a R34??
not always.
Have you ever looked at yours rotors before you washed your car? look at them right after you wash it…they will be solid rusted. Rotors will look rusted in minutes.
thats a huge bummer, i feel bad for the owner. Even if he had wheel locks tho, there a joke, i have 3 different sets of tool that take wheel locks off w/ ease, if a thief wants em bad enough they will sure as hell have em.
At least the thieves were kind enough to leave the brembos. Those are worth just as much if not more them the wheels and held on by two bolts
