so i dropted my i phone in a puddle

my gf spilled a cup of water in my lap top when i was using it a couple months ago. I quickly shut it off and removed the battery. then i took it apart and dried it with a can of air. i let it sit apart for a couple of days and when i put it back together it work

one of the guys at hockey said to let it sit in distilled water

you should definitely do that, with it on of course.

that would be dumb.

isopropyl alcohol maybe. water, no.

hir dryer now, letting it sit all day and night tommarow

i will let you know

I dropped my phone in a puddle before and I just let it sit for a couple hours and it still works fine

no one wants to hear what you have to say

I hope your phone never works again that way I dont have to hear from your dumb ass when Im walking through an airport

i hate the atl air port and u

im never calling u frim my phone again

want to got to maryland with me to pick up thoes wheels soon?

Yea sure what the hell

Or annoys the hell out of everybody and gets thrown out an replaced.

You come in there with obvious water damage fighting till you’re blue in the face that you want a new one, the workers won’t be too happy and can make your life worse.

Yep, if the litmus paper turns color… you are f’d. Trick is to put a little epoxy over the paper… and seal it from the elements. :ninja

where is the paper so i can see before i go in

if u dropped it in water, turn it off if its not already and let it sit for a week dude

take it apart if u can and let everything dry out,

it wont damage unless it was on and got all short circuited and shit…

dont try to turn it on tho until its complete dried out

Usually there’s 2 little circles… one on the battery and one underneath it. I have no idea where it is on the Iphone

you cant take anything out but the sim card

c’mon Spike

Sean, wtf man… i still have my 16G… maybe you need a better case?

Get a water-resistant mil-spec phone. Or stop dropping it.

You pretty much have to take the whole phone apart, not just the covers/battery. Like seriously pull the LCD with the circuit boards right the fuck out. There has to to be a write up online on how to do it. Then get electronics cleaner at Radio Shack and hose the bitch, then dry it out with a can of compressed air. It has worked for me in the past, I don’t know much about iphones though.
