Not covered under warrenty so you will pay out of pocket
Water and whatever little particles are in it are corrosive
You cant open an iphone
If apple realize this there goes your warrenty again
If you do happen to dry it out and it seems to be working again dont be so sure. At my work we deal with a lot of phones being droped in water/mud, sewage tanks you name it weve had a phone dropped in it… Generaly we can get them dried and workign again, but the phone becomes a ticking time bomb due to corrosion, even when the phones dry things stay behind or whatever damage was already done slowly corrodes the phone over time.
Weve seen phones die a couple days after they dry or a couple months, i think my boss was telling me one lasted a year or two.
LOL at everyone that knows nothing about the iphone giving advice.
Let it dry for 2-3 days. Bring to Apple Store. Tell them the phone started acting wird, you tried to restore it, etc. and nothing worked. Get new phone for free.
They will not try and open up the phone, they don’t care.
Jim, I have an iPhone, as Im carefull i’ve never worried about it to much. I had an ATT rep tell me that they will intialy give you a new phone, but if water damage is present that they will charge a fee to your bill…
Other than that I havent looked to much into it because well, I keep my phone in a condom, so unless that fucker is submerged for a long time i think itll be fine
