Alright guys, I think it’s best to set a date in late April - early May…

last day of school for many college people is April 26 or 28, I’d say 1st week of May to clear everything up.

& Earl Bales Park is one of the recommendations!! kinda gay otherwise bbq’ing in just parking lot area rather than a nice setting away from our cars but in sight! lol.

Also, I don’t mind bringing meat, and others should pitch in! come on guys, it’s like a food drive but for our son240 spring meet…hotdog packs here, hamburger boxes there, don’t forget the buns, then there are drinks, and the ketchup, mayo and what not, heck…even people’s own marinated meat for tryers! food ain’t pricey, and the more, the merrier! :wink:

earl bales has deathly asphalt and parkinglots… that and its given there’ll be peeling off, brake stands and the usualy stupi stuff, i’m sure you all know. . Best if those interested communicated privately, unless its going to be sanctioned by son240sx as a club.

a good place is sandy beaches in Pickering. Its close to the nuclear plant. It has:
-baseball diamonds

  • soccer fields
  • tennis courts
    -lots of parking
  • nice park to walk threw and feed the ducks on the other side
  • lots of wildlife and room to do what ever we want

it would be bring your own bbq though.

Outside GPK would work, huge parking lot, theres a couple parks in mississauga, less central but a little more private as far as i’ve seen cept the one im mainly thinking of is right by a peel police station and theres only one way in and out haha.

If anything we can go to the park off of McCowan and 7 (dont remember the name of it) the only thing is its paid parking so not as many people tend to show up there but that would also semi-indirectly reserve the lot for us.

Earl Bales is a good idea cept it doesnt have as big of a parking lot as i seem to remember off the top of my head.

fuck if you guys want i`ll arrange another wasaga meet like i did in 2007 they have the huge lots we parked on the parking lot beside birgerking had the whole thing to ourselfs and it all rebuilt now?i know its a bit far but me osad and weaves,silvia_drift,and a bunch of other ppl went out airport road its a really nice drive and tonnes of parking i know its far but its fun?

I know Wasaga is another great spot, those wilderness roads are amazing from Airport road :slight_smile:

wasaga would be awsome we should try and set up a couple groups to cruise up in packs may would be good to i might stay there for the weekend if we go up on a weekend

^ we usally try for one day the very odd time will anyone stay to just chill or get trashed more then one day

it would be willing to crash there and get trashed there. If we can get a lot of people up there then it would be a good say like saturday into sunday thing. and the few that want to stay could rent the cottages and that up there for the night for the ones that want to stay then the rest can leave at the end of the day

i would be interested in a spring get together, however i live in guelph ontario. not sure how many ppl on the forums are from around here.
