In a way its almost like cheating- making a slower car temporarily faster.
I actually considered spraying my car though but that was an idea only if I kept the stock motor in it (without its issues). I thought about doing a small shot with the stock bottom end.
Instead I decided to stay NA and went with a higher compression shortblock. Its probably still good for a moderate shot and I probably shouldnt totally rule out the possibility of using it in the distant future (too broke to fuck with it now).
I don’t think im being very ignorant at all considering I have been in a car with nitrous none the less driven a car with nitrous when you have not.
I hated on nitrous all the time till I was actually in a car and drove one with it… it was only a 50 shot but it was fun as hell
Its NOT cheating, it drives me absolutely insane when people ssay that. If thats true, throwing a turbo/blower, or hell even putting a cam in is cheating. Everyone leave your car stock so youre not a “cheater”. Its a way to make power, and alot of it if you want to, and its cheaper than alot of other routes. I like it for its simplicity. Dont have a turbo, s/c head unit to die, not blowing off hoses, havin boost issues, etc etc.
Ill take ya for a rip with some real pills in it

I wanted to do nitrous but I then looked at the fact i never race people so my car didnt need to be fast. I was thinking if it could be used in a sliding application but i think i would use it waaaay to fast that way so it wouldnt be as cost effective.
How does nitrous affect tourque cause thats all that really matters?
