In the case of “SS GDBF”, I would definatly say that he was pulled over for that aftermarket aero kit. Now, my car is completely stock on the exterior (except mudflaps, being a bit low, and a exhaust). I was pulled over and “warned” about these mods. He told me he could be writing tickets to me that day if he was in the mood. I did absolutly NOTHING wrong, I was being passed and going about 3km over the limit (63 in a 60), he just stayed on my ass for about 3kms then flicked on the lights. Sure, let the completely rotted ford astro with the exhaust not even secured at the end and a packing tape secured passenger side mirror cruise by at 10+ over the speed limit, and run a yellow/red. Then throw on your lights behind me and make me sit and wait. 15mins Late for work, not only did he cost me time but money as well. This is complete bullshit, and it cannot continue. I have never and will never street race, nor will I feel sorry for anyone that does it. If you want to take the risk, fine, thats on you. What they are doing is completely wrong and it needs to be stopped. I was lucky I didnt get a MTO inspection THIS time, but who knows what the next day holds. This whole situation is making me sick to my stomach, when you are actually afraid to take your pride and joy out on the road even just to head to work, that is a very, very sad day indeed.
