the Actual Work-Out thread

Ok? Muscletech brand supplements worked great for me, so why not share with others?

In a month on those products my bench went up 40lbs, squat went up 50lbs, and cleans went up 40lbs.

I could be wrong, but I think the idea of that you used creatine help get yourself bulked is the error in his eyes. Sureshot knows his shit though

I used creatine in football offseason to get my strength up, but to each his own. Everyone has different goals about working out. Lose weight, gain weight, sculpt and shape, gain bulk/strength, etc.

r u actually being serious? its hard to tell on this forum lol.

02 svt focus, yes supplements are extremely unregulated, but like i said before, if u do ur research, u will find that there are many companies that actually like to make good products. Osteo sport is good, also univeral animal flex has gotten awesome reviews although i cant speak for it because i have never taken it. Although i do take universal animal paks for my multivitamins and they work great. So you just need ot be careful with what u use.

Creatine is used for muscle recovery and muscle fiber repair, it is used sometimes for people with muscular dystrophy but is not proven to work. Anyone who think they are gonna get super jacked from creatine is an idiot, and neone who knows anything about it would tell u to take it AFTER ur workout.

P.S. O, muscletech is a joke, for example heres a quote from their description for their amazing new product “anabolic halo”

“In just seconds, an intense, glacial-like chill overwhelms the back of your throat. The subzero, arctic outbreak has begun! In virtually no time, it feels like your entire physiological profile is “freezing” as the mega-dose of more than 75 cutting-edge and musclebuilding ingredients in the ANABOLIC HALO™ formula courses through your veins. The cryo-anabolic post-workout growth-inducing event invades your muscles and engages an anabolic uprising within them … leaving them with no choice but to grow!”

:bowrofl: must buy now!!!

Yeah, the rip was on the belief that muscletech is a legitimate company. The only legitimate thing they will do is legitimately increase your waist line.

I believe in supplements. They just have to be the right ones.

next time ne of u guys go into gnc, read the labels on cell tech and nitro tech, they are both loaded with sugar, along with all their other products.

I have never really looked into suppliments, I work out every other day, eating carbs 15 minutes before and drinking a protein shake directly after with either 5 scrambled eggs or an entire can of tuna fish.Im happy with my results from my routine.

overall im pretty happy with where im at being all natural with no suppliments. Im only 5"7 and 180 lbs.My over all goal is to reach 200-210 and ill be happy.

Yeah muscletech is all sugar for sure. I buy all my supplements online- gnc is such a rip off.

of course u dont need supplements, and some people consider whey powder a supplement but it deffinitly is not. But ive found that taking creatine and a nitric oxide formula have deffinitly helped. Also i wouldnt consider multivitamins a supplement but i use those as well.

what does your stack consist of?
what brands do you use?
what do you think of BSN products?
I have been doing trial and err but in the
supplement world thats pretty costly.

Like i sid before u need to do ur best to weed out the rip offs, and i mean straight up RIP OFFS. Heres my stash

Multivitamin: Universal animal paks-Universal has been making supplements for over 20 years and they have an excellent reputation. One thing i notice about taking animal pak multivitamins is that i sleep much better and more importntly i wake up much better than when i stop taking them, (the only reason i stop taking them is when i run out)

Protein:GNC brand (pro performance) or muscle milk, gotta love cookies and cream muscle milk. I usually make a shake using the gnc whey every morning before i work out. Usually ill throw some strawberries and a banana in the blender to make it taste a little better. I make it with 2 cups of skim milk. Then post workout i put a scoop of muscle milk in a tall glass of skim milk. Then one more gnc shake before bed.

Pre workout (nitric oxide)- I have found in my research that nitric oxide truly varries from person to person. if u go on bodybuilding.com or anabolicminds.com and look at the supplement review threads, u will find that there are many different nitric oxide products that people say are the best, so it is really up to u. I use gaspari nutrition superpump 250. it gives me a great pump and i feel very focused. I have heard some people call it super “dump” 250 kuz it gives u the shits rly bad, but this has never happened to me. Although the best reviewed nitroc oxide supplement i have seen is white flood by controlled labs. I have never tried it but i am yet to see a negative review on it!

Post workout (creatine)-Whenever i start to research a supplement i immidiately go to the bodybuilding.com supplement awards. For 2008 the creatine product of the year was BSN cell-tech, and i have always used it. I started seeing some great gains when i started taking it about 2 years ago, and when i went off it for a little bit i didnt lose all kinds of mass like some creatines will do to u. Some people say u should only take true creatine, otherwise known as “creatine monohydrate”. I have always used BSN cell-tech so i couldnt tell u if true creatine monohydrate is ne better.

Joint support-I have tendonitis in my left knee so i take osteo sport, it sure does the trick, but unless u have joint problems u rly dont need it.

To answer ur question about bsn, just go here, http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/supplementawardpage.htm

those awards are taken pretty seriously, they have a lot of merrit to them. And it wont take u long to see that bsn wins all kinds of awards, including supplement brand of the year. You can see that N.O. explode won nitric oxide supplement of the year. I used to take it but i grw tolerant of it very quickly. Kind of weird, and i also read that the same thing happened to many other people, but it did the trick while it worked for me. But i would have to say that bsn is my favorite company. their stuff isnt super overpirced and it works.

Remember, you dont need to take all kinds of supplements! i used only whey powder for a couple years. Only in the last year or so have i been using supplements, and if i didnt feel they were doing anything, i would stop taking them! They are not absolutely necessary. BUT! I highly recommend using whey protein and a multivitamin, they are essential if you want ur body to be running at its best. Why would you do all that work and not mximize your potential? Multivitamins especially are of paramount importance for cell and muscle recovery. Hope this helped

P.S. If anyone is looking into prohormones (yes they are legal) make sure you do an INSANE amount of research. Prohormones really pack the size on but you have to be very careful, and using cycle support is necessary.

edit—> I just won 40 bucks on a scratch off…

holy fuck, how long did that take u to type nick lol. im still reading it

a while, i had to piss rly bad the whole time so it made me type faster, im one of those guys that has to look at the keys but i go super duper fast.

Puked today while running. Delicious.

in regards to the halo, it does feel like ur throat is burning lol

their products worked well for me when I was in high school :gotme:

their only product that i would say “works” is cell tech. But once again it is loaded with sugar. Ya when u are in high school it doesnt really matter because u have the metaboism of a crack head. But when u get a little older its not fun trying to burn all that off.

Mix two scoops in about 10 oz. of water, drink about 20 minutes before you work out… I do this and drink a 16oz full throttle energy drink during work out.
NEVER run out of energy!
The N.O explode honestly makes you feel like you just did a line of coke, you start shaking and freaking out, I find myself pacing back and forth in the gym, but the amount of workouts I can get in when I do take it,greatly outweights if I don’t drink it.

I’ve used both this and black powder, I’d say black power works a little better, for me at least. The effects it gave me became less and less as time went on, and by the time I finished the first jug, it really didnt seem to do anything for me anymore.

whitney?
