needs a little bodywork to get that front bumper to align :bash: big hammer!!!
2 nice for a beater
what does that car feel like with the super HICAS?
like 15 seconds
i dunno, it turns on a really small radius when the wheel is turned all the way. i like how darty the car is (torquey and lightweight) and it handles pretty damn good too. i gotta either put a new starter on or get mine rebuilt though… oh yeah, the paint on the hood and hatch are my work (spray can gloss black + gloss clear). the stock paint on some areas looked pretty bad.
congrats brian
keep a hammer handy
better get some good snow tires and a lot of weight in the back of that thing… that year of the 240 the rear end comes out quicker than any car I’ve ever driven, and that was just in the rain going through a intersection…
Ddrriiifftt!!!
im not even going to attempt driving my 240 this winter! if the roads are wet and im not careful i end up sliding like crazy! i didnt totally understand why it was such a popular drift car until i actually drove it!
wow… when i was just outta highschool my buddies 240 would go in the snow like a champ… he had a huge system back there but we’d take that car everywhere in the bad snow days…
ehhhh shouldnt be too bad… Super hicas cars come with factory VLSD.
must be all that stock hp
cool little beater… im guessing the super hicas come with a turbo or sr20det… i dont know, but what does hicas stand for?
there was never a factory turbocharged 240sx brought over to America and commercially sold.
super hicas was a suspension option
No usdm 240sx has ever came with an SR20det… nor a turbo. There are some older 200sx’s that came with a small turbine.
Super Hicas is a 4-wheel steering option that was also available on the Nissan 300zx. Super Hicas 240sx’s also came with shorter gears and a limited slip diff.
I cant decide wether or not I want to do up another DSM or do a 240. What power potential does the stock KA have when turbo’d?
I am not the source for this but. I heard its decent, but the reliability factor isnt there
the reliability factor is always going to be there when you boost an engine that wasnt boosted from the factory! boosting a KA the right way is going to roughly cost you the same as a sr20 swap plus you get all the aftermarket with the sr
