I find it astonishing how when Bush was in office, threatening use of the filibuster in rare cases was unconstitutional and now the Republicans do it every 30 seconds to block the Dems every time they want to scratch their ass. I’m surprised they didn’t filibuster the motion to honor Tim Russert. Seriously, I’m just confused on what they plan on running on next election, other than hoping for either another terrorist attack or that the current regime fails and the country gets worse? It’s obvious neither side wants to cut spending, they just spend on different things, so that’s a load of shit.
