VW Touareg V10 TDI - What do you know/think about it?

HAHAHAH thats not what i meant lol. Look across the street VW owners fo lyfe!

No, I know what u mean, lol. We’d be dubbin on that street fo rillz!

I can’t imagine what the V10 TDI must sound like. I think I may be taking a trip down to this dealer sometime soon after I secure some doll hairs for the purchase of this pig.

Does anyone know what the life expectancy of the engine/drive-train on these things is by some off chance?

FOR EVER lol

just outside warranty would be my guess.

lol, yeah that would figure. I’d imagine there’s a few things that need to be done, but I would be able to do them all soon enough. I’m not afraid of dropping this out of the truck either if need be. It would be easier to work on anyway!

No joke, I just watched that a minute before you posted it up! That is the sickest thing ever. Gear driven timing and it’s variable! I’m down for picking this thing up for sure, lol.

yea it’s also expensive to fix if anything ever binds up, but badass for sure

I think “big ben” has less gears in it! lol.

things sounds sweet straight piped.

:excited:excited WOW sounds like a school bus with a Nutbag. I like it.

pull those fucking cats off and it’ll sound 3000000000000x better.

Yeah, expensive to fix for sure, but not a whole hell of a lot more than most cars. Found a used TDI V10 with 7k miles for 5k so it’s not looking too bad for this one.

These things sound like they have some sack to them!

get it! i’d love to get one!

Fuck having a high payment on something w/o a warranty that’s gonna cost a fortune to fix when it breaks

… I don’t think a $5k vehicle will have much of a car payment…

kinda what I’m thinking. If your serrious about buying one better make sure it comes with a stack of service records and hasn’t been beaten to within an inch of it’s life.

His post implied that a replacement engine was 5K, not the entire vehicle

I’d get the service history on this thing for sure before I even think of purchasing this one. Also, I’d be looking into some sort of warranty for it as well. If there’s even a possibility of something going wrong I’d like to have some insurance against it. It worked well with my wife’s car so it shouldn’t be a problem with one of these. It won’t be much of a payment wither with over 8k toward the purchase either. So yeah, like Cossey said, there won’t be much of a payment on a 5k vehicle

If your looking to buy from a dealer most manufacturers have extended warranty plans. They all have different levels of what they cover, but that way if a drivetrain component does fail you get to bring it to the dealer and not worry about the cost of repairs.
