i picked up an xmod from work (1/28th rc car) and have been working on a DTM-CLK body for it:
i painted it up last night and got the lenses put in over top of the led light kit…wheels are black with polished lip, all that’s left is to do the spoiler and lip black.
and the one i’m modeling:
i’m working on the rear leaning problem too

it’s silver like the real one i posted, cept my spoiler right now is also silver, it will be black here shortly but i dont’ feel like mixing black up in the airbrush tonight it’s cold in my garage.

as well as the rear one i need to find a nice small mobil 1 sticker.
Do you know how to make your own stickers? There’s a relatively easy way to make your own stickers for models.
i’m gonna get the kit from walmart that lets you print your own decals.
There’s an easier, cheaper way to do it. 
do tell cuz that thing at walmart is 5 bux

yeah lol, making a scale model of an actual DTM car is hella-rice 
Just buy the film paper that has the adhesive backing in 8.5x11" sheets, and use a lazer jet printer to print the text and pictures.
