That is exactly how I would have said it, very nice! I edited it a little bit…still, you put it in perfect perspective. +1 for Hacknik.

Ok…Mikey vs Alex at Cayuga…No turbo vs intercooler piping pop off. Place your bets boys…I had to
Just FYI tuning a 240 to nutso IMO is not right, in the end it’s a 240. That my opinion but light tuning is always fun
ROFL, you just took out the " Im poor part" and left the rest. You call that editing!? LOL, jks

ROFL, jks, but yea, check the EVENTS section, see what’s going on. Get involved if your really interested like you claim you are.
BTW, this is SON. HOME of creative criticism. If you think this is bad, try going on zilvia.
I’m going to be alone on this one but Corvetteman has a point. Hear me out.
Modding your car cannot be compared to another hobby that takes only your time. Tuning takes great deal of resources + LOTS of money to actually get somewhere; as opposed to playing basketball and trying to make the NBA. That only takes time away, not a lot of money.
When you guys grow older and have a family and kids and realize you can’t play with big $ toys anymore, you’ll ask yourself why did I put 20k into this car and sell it for only 8-10k. Then you start to wonder what you could have done with that 20k. I ask myself this all the time.
However, the time you put into it is definitely rewarding and becomes part of your life when you look back at it. Probably the happiest years of your youthful life.
What I’m trying to say is, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. If you like tuning go for it, but be smart about it. Don’t take out LOCs and Max out visas to get your car to stand out and be the best because at the end, it won’t be worth 1/2 of what you put into it when you want to get rid of it. Don’t spend 99% of your pay cheque into your car. Save up for a rainy day or put it aside to buy a house. Tastes change and styles come and go.
If I were to do it all again, I’d buy an already modded car and change the little things like AERO and etc to suit my tastes. I would NOT build the car from ground up.
Try doing other things with your time and money because once you want to get out of the scene, you’re going to look at yourself and ask “what have I accomplished”. Do these skills that I have obtained gain me anything in the real world? I’m sure some people do like opening their own shop or becoming mechanics etc etc. But this is to those who don’t wish to pursue that as their careers.
You’ll come out to the real world with an empty hand and won’t have much to offer since you spent most of your time and money into the car, which is gone by now.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that tuning is wrong or stupid. Just don’t get overwhelmed by it and let it consume your life. Don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Spread it out. Learn different things that will help you gain knowledge and experience into field that you want to get into.
Just me 2 cents. Take it with a grain of salt!
^^^ STFU NOOB
LOL I agree partially but nothing beats a fully tuned car or bigg rob singing big woman.
Yea, I get what you mean aswell. But think about it from a noob’s point of view. If I were to just by an already modded car for a decent price and change things to suit my tastes, would I really appreciate the vehicle? Compared to building it from the ground up? I wouldint learn things, I wouldint experience a love/hate for my hobby. I would either end up loving it, because I didint have to do anything. Or I would end up hating it, because something blew or went wrong, and now I dont know how to fix it. Hobbies are different, and money wise, what your saying is right on. Saving money for bigger and better things, and such. Other then that, it’s all personal. For example, I would probably be the first in my family tree, to actually have this passion. So its like I have to do it. Something to tell my kids about. Live life to the fullest and experience things before I grow old, and prune up. But yea… im not good with debates lol.
$0.0002
That is the difference between passion and obsession.
Or is there really a difference? Think about that.
- maad deep:/:
lets all buy miatas and track them. then we wont have to tune shit haha
but yes, i agree its a waste of money. and at the same time, id rather be a happy naive teenager then wise boring old man…
Cars are idiotic. Point A to Point B baby.
IT’S JUST PLAIN FUN just like rain and snow
Haha, couldn’t have put it better my self I want to live a little. Saving money is smart but BORING
LOL, this vehicle is slowly depleting my funds each day…so I’m not terribly poor…yet. But yes, +1 for you :D!
