Ok go outside, jump the car and try to start it, then come back and tell us what happens
…but it was perfectly charged when all of this happened… just saying after the car stopped running and wouldnt start it later died… Probably from me continously cranking it to see the noise to be honest.

After I heard wierd noise in engine and motor starts to stumble I drive to my location and shut the car off… I immediatley try and restart car, car wont… wont even turn over…just makes a clicking sound as if I stretched the timing chain or jumped timing… after continously trying to start it to listen to where the clicking was coming from the car died… It died rather fast but it died.
I’m still curious to see what happens with a good battery in it, the battery coulda not had enough juice from the first time you tried to start it

yea but he said the motor was making noise on the way home so it probalby is fucked. theres a sensor for everthing on that car so diagnosing it through through shift518 is probably completely pointless.
Put a wrench on the crank pully bolt and see if you can spin the motor over

Just told me he THINKS its bad coil packs which makes sense but doesnt make sense… Thats honestly EXACTLY what I initally thought when the car started to act sluggish and skip… But when it died and wouldnt start back up I thought it was more severe. He will know for SURE later, he just took a quick glance.
Fact still remainds! Bad motor or not, still getting an ls1/2! lol… Hopefully Jdaniels accepts my offer and I can get this shit rolling.

you can get LS2s on ebay from cleveland pull a part, like 6k with trans. low mileage running engines. from 05-07 Corvettes or 05/6 GTOs

Honestly I think I can get an even better deal then that. Sounds like I will be buying J daniels ls1 thats got a couple mods done to it for $1,800, he says it made 450hp so thats a pretty good base to start with before I go the forced induction route. All I need is a tranny which I can pick up for around a grand, an ecm which I’ll get a tuned one for around $120 and a wiring harness which is around $300-350. I’ll have a total of a little over $3k into this set up and I speculate another $500-800 in custom fab work/parts to the suspension and drive shaft to make things work right and im gonna estimate my mechanic charging me no more then $2k tops of labor so I can have this project 100% complete for around $5k which is pretty damn cheap… Not to mention since all my stock motor needed was a coil pack im gonna replace that and sell that for probably $1,500 so that def helps me get some of the money back for the build.
