believe it or not. geico always use remanufactured parts if available or used parts(mainly body panels). every insur. is different. company like GMAC, will guarantee to use oem parts.
Just got back from the ins co. seems they did more damage than i thought.
estimate came to just under 6k. leaves me with like 5500.00 to get it fixed
they will always use remanufactured parts when possible. those are the key words. even when they do claim to find them if you bitch enough about the part not acting or being as good as new (or as before for walter) then they will yield because it’s not worth the battle for the 1/10000 people who bitch.
