Super easy to pick a lock, especially one that would fit inplace of a wheel stud (it’d be 3-4 cyclinders). But maybe it’d take longer and dissuade the landscapers?
explain presidents now?! wat?
Moving to a place with a garage?
Or a place with a gated community?
When we move to Phoenix, I’ll rock steelies on my car lol.
I live in a gated community. I strongly beleive it was on of the residents that live here. that next night when i went out to the car i found that the light over my car had been disabled. Someone knew too much, I wouldnt be suprise if they were watching me when i got home that night.
Sorry to hear Tom I hope your insurance company pulls through and you can get your old set up back.
well…ins check = $5300. be waiting for a full makeover. Thanks everyone foe the sympathy.
Nice  Glad to hear.
nice it seems you made out good
WOW no shit.
That is nuts.
SO, instead of buying a lug set and one set of security lugs… buy FIVE different sets of security lugs next time?
Glad to hear you got more than the $1,000 you were expecting!
Phoenix has one of the highest rates of auto theft and break ins in the country…one of the many bi-products of illegal immigration. My beat up 10 year old cavy was broken into within 3 months of moving there. When i called the police to report it they wanted to file the report over the phone rather than send an officer to the scene cause its so common place. I bitched until they gave in and sent an officer and a crime scene investigator. they lifted the guys prints off my car window and busted him about a year later. i’m still getting restitution checks in the mail. to the phx cops for solving this insignificant crime.
that’s more like it.
Getting a wheel lock off is not hard at all. Right before I sold my rims I broke the key with like 2 lugs left on. My dad removed them both in under 10 min by smashing on a smaller sized socket.
Glad to see your insurance company did not bend you over.
