“too heavy for my liking” says the guy who drives a 3800 lb car
Last time I checked, the character string “Skyline” != “GTR”. How much longer until you realize it is not the same fucking car?

lol let’s keep this going because I need something to do at work.
No fucking shit they won’t cover it.
:word:
Well put someone that doesnt know a thing about racing and sucks at driving in a Performance car or race car there is a chance he might break a few things while trying to get his best performance out of it… Who would want to Warranty that!
Z06>*
there is a bit of irony in this thread…but i’ll leave it at that
I know someone who wrecked a car in the middle of an autocross, told the insurance exactly what happened, and got a nice fat check for a totaled <1 year old car. Not the same thing, but still…
did the insurance company drop him after that? I’d be surprised if they didn’t (or atleast hike his rates way up)
Actually 3,850 and with my fat ass much more. I was saying in the lineage of Datsun and other Z cars which were light weight cars, the new Z is a little chucky. A 2 door 2 seater that is 3,350.
As for the Cadi it has and never will be a light weight sports car.
How did a CTS-V get brought into a Vette vs GTR comparison?
Also I know it is not called a Skyline any more, but I would I would still say that is the lineage for the current GTR.
Even Nissan makes the tie to the previous generations:
http://www.gtrnissan.com/item.en.us.html?id=GT-R_FirstDetails_en_us&type=press
“Nissan is today also confirming the final name of the car. Previous generations of this car were known as the Skyline GT-R; the new name for this car is simply “Nissan GT-R” in all global markets.”
LZ: No, I won’t change my mind
Ron: It’s the next step in lineage, yeah, but it’s just called something different (for whatever reason). I don’t like the way they did it, but I guess it makes sense seeing as how they derived a totally new platform from everything they’ve researched so far instead of using a sedan platform.
Hmm, don’t know what else to add. I’m just trying to procrastinate from going back to class really…
I don’t care your entitled to your wrong opinion…
with current safety restrictions, and with people wanting Luxury features mixed in, there is no way to cut out the extra weight. It is that simple. Where can they cut fat while continuing to cut the price of the car down?
I don’t really think that Nissan is even building the GTR to be “Mod Proof”. They are simply saying that if you mod it, they will know, and you will not be covered under warranty.
All I can say is wow.
Oh and MPD has at least 230492384x the knowledge and experience you have.
Oh and Z-oh-sex >*
Imports are for fggts
Side winder’s are so Top Gun, I can’t believe you suck off Tom
Speaking of suck, you sir suck a lot
Did anyone mention the g-t-aaaaaarrh sucks more then getting your oil tanker hijacked by pirates?
lol!!! I dont know why i just love the CTS V too!
yeah, same here. I woke up with foam all over my lower jaw and shirt and had a pounding headache, and now have the sudden urge to go test drive one
Well it seems that Mazda and Lotus can build a sub 3,000 pound 2 seater.
Even the Corvette wieghs less than a 350Z.
Also, for GM
ZR1>Zo6>CTS-V>Cobalt SS
But obiviously:
GTR>*
What, can’t nyspeed ever have nice things
This is why :banghead:
LOL, when you learn to speak English I’ll retort to whatever you say. It’s hard enough arguing with MPD who has the intelligence level of a stump…stillborn babies are smarter than you, ‘ultradriver’.
ultradriver… :mamoru:
Not the point I was trying to make, nor do I think that.
